Motoblock Belarus 08BS

Recently, along with large agricultural enterprises, the number of small farms, gardens, vegetable gardens, greenhouses, personal plots and the like has been growing. All this requires multifunctional, compact and productive equipment, the operation of which will not be critical. Belarus 08BS walk-behind tractor was specially designed for work in cramped and decorative areas.
The 08BS model walk-behind tractor is a small assistant with great capabilities. The main elements of 08BS walk-behind tractors: steering, chassis, towbar, power take-off shaft, power unit, transmission. In decorative areas, in gardens, and when forming lawns, large tractors are inappropriate; in such places, more compact and maneuverable equipment is used - 08BS walk-behind tractors. After all, the 08BS walk-behind tractor is capable of performing a wide range of work with the appropriate equipment. Weighing 125 kg, the walk-behind tractor of this model has less impact on the surface of the earth, as a result of which it is less deformed, which is important when creating exclusive ornamental gardens and flower beds. Motoblocks of this model can not only significantly facilitate the work of summer residents, but also increase their productivity. One single machine equipped with additional equipment (attachments) is capable of handling a volume of work designed for a dozen people. The 08BS model walk-behind tractor can easily plow virgin soil, remove snow, hay, transport cargo, and the like. For example, with the help of just one Belarus 08BS , you can pump up water and clear the area of snow, equipping this equipment with the appropriate additional equipment, which you can order. The capabilities of these productive machines are so wide that they can be used all year round.

Often, ignorant people confuse a walk-behind tractor and a walk-behind cultivator, not knowing that there is a huge difference and a lot of differences between them. Belarus 08BS behind tractor is a universal equipment, a small tractor on two wheels, which, depending on the equipment, can perform various operations, unlike motorized cultivators, which are only capable of performing excavation work. This is the significant difference between these two types of technology. And the scope of application of 08BS walk-behind tractors is noticeably wider than that of a walk-behind cultivator, because a walk-behind tractor is a kind of construction set from which you can assemble certain equipment depending on the specifics of the work. For example, if you decide to buy a Belarus 08BS and decide to use it to grow potatoes, you need a plow, which is supplied upon request.

In the basic configuration, the 08BS model walk-behind tractor is equipped with a pair of rubber wheels; if you decide to use this machine on problematic sticky soils, you should equip the walk-behind tractor of this model with special lugs, which are heavier than rubber wheels and have better grip on the soil. If you decide to buy a 08BS walk-behind tractor, you can order different types of wheels, not excluding lugs.

In order to buy a Belarus 08BS , you need to find the “Contacts” section, which contains telephone numbers and an email address where you can contact us. In our company, the sale of Belarus 08BS is carried out at manufacturer prices, the equipment is available to any potential client. In our company, highly qualified, competent managers are waiting for you, who will acquaint you with the procedure for purchasing walk-behind tractors produced by MTZ, as well as with their distinctive features.

Device

The Mole walk-behind tractor is a fairly standard design without the use of frills. This model of walk-behind tractor began to be produced in 1983 in Moscow, but then the production of this unit expanded, so they began to be produced in Omsk.

They were equipped with factory engines, the power of which did not exceed 2.6 hp. It is attached, like the gearbox, to the frame using ordinary bolts. The declared power was not always enough, so many Mole owners adapted to some modifications, replacing the factory engine with more powerful models.

In general, the structure of the Mole walk-behind tractor looks like this:

  • Frame structure on which the internal combustion engine and gearbox are located.
  • The control handles on which the clutch is located, as well as the engine speed controller.
  • A wheelbase that allows you to freely move the unit from place to place. During operation, these transport wheels are removed.
  • Soil cutters, which are put on the output shafts of the gearbox.

For more details about the Mole walk-behind tractor, watch the video:

As we can see, the design is very simple, which allows you to carry out repair work yourself. But you may have to do this, because the factory engine does not always operate in a stable mode.

The operating principle of the Mole walk-behind tractor is as follows. The torque is transmitted to the gearbox, and then to its two output shafts through a V-belt. When the clutch is pressed, the belt is tensioned, driving the gearbox shaft.

This gearbox shaft, on which the cutting elements (soil cutters) are located, rotates around its axis, cutting off the soil crust, while at the same time crushing and mixing it. Similar translational movements are used to move the walk-behind tractor along the surface of the earth.

The kit includes four rototillers, which need to be placed in pairs on each side of the shaft. By the way, it is possible to install six cutting elements at once, which improves the quality of tillage.

Mole

The scope of application of this and other walk-behind tractors, such as Cayman, Patriot, Texas, Foreman, Crosser, Viking, Forza, can be significantly expanded if additional attachments are attached to it. It is connected to the unit through a special bracket located at the back of the walk-behind tractor.

You will have to purchase such equipment separately, but thanks to it, an expanded scope of work opens up:

  • transportation of goods of various weights;
  • processing of inter-row spaces of beds;
  • hilling and weeding of beds;
  • making hay for livestock;
  • planting and digging up potato tubers;
  • using the pump you can water the beds, etc.

In other words, with the help of the Mole, Sadko, Don, Huter, Profi, Plowman, and Champion walk-behind tractors, you can carry out virtually the entire range of agricultural work. This circumstance makes it an indispensable assistant for a rural resident who uses his garden to the fullest.

Basic malfunctions and their elimination

Some users have encountered failures of complex gasoline equipment related to the operation of the engine or transmission. The most common problems arising in the operation of the motor:

  1. Reduced engine power. As a rule, this occurs due to clogging of the fuel system, soot deposits on the walls of the combustion chamber, degradation of the engine and spark plugs. In the first case, the filters are cleaned and the carburetor is adjusted. Excessive wear of the piston group is eliminated by replacing parts or installing a new engine. Carbon deposits on spark plugs and combustion chamber walls are removed by mechanical or chemical cleaning.
  2. Difficulty starting the engine. This may be due to a malfunction of the power supply or ignition systems. Check the flow of fuel into the carburetor, the presence and quality of the spark in the spark plug. Identified defects are eliminated independently or with the involvement of service center employees.
  3. Unstable engine operation. As a rule, “floating” speed or power failures occur due to weak contact in the high-voltage ignition circuit. In this case, you should check all switching points and strengthen problem areas.

Other main malfunctions include a malfunction of the transmission. This is caused by wear of the clutch discs and weakening of the springs. To restore functionality, they are completely replaced. In addition, this can be caused by a broken cable, deformed friction discs, or dirty oil. An increase in noise characteristics of the gearbox indicates a low oil level or loose parts. Knocking and grinding noises occur due to worn gears, and it is recommended to immediately replace the damaged part (together with the adjacent one) in order to avoid complete failure of the entire unit.

For your information!

Before repairing, you need to carefully study the diagram and operating principle of the failed unit. Hasty actions can lead to final breakdown of the unit.

Still have questions?

MTZ walk-behind tractors Belarus-made walk-behind tractors are quite small, but at the same time very effective machines for cultivating land, as well as other agricultural tasks. Also, owners of cars from MTZ believe that this is a fairly strong model with a good engine.

The articulation is carried out using a hitch unit. With its help, the walk-behind tractor reaches a speed of 9.6 km per hour. Gearbox Many owners of walk-behind tractors complain about the characteristic sound that comes from the gearbox when the unit is operating. Brief history The MTZ 09 walk-behind tractor was created in 2016. However, there is also a drawback - increased fuel consumption. This makes the process of putting the engine into operation much easier. Hang one of the removed weights on the mower to balance the unit, as stated in the mower's operating instructions. This unit has a reliable transmission. Repair of walk-behind tractor MTZ-09N

Characteristic features of the device

Motoblock "Luch" Motoblock MB 5040 "Luch", of course, is very far from ideal. Although, all modifications of this walk-behind tractor are far from it. Many details require improvements, such as the muffler, which its owners eventually change to a quieter one - the noise during operation is really quite disturbing.

Motoblock MB 5040 "Luch",

Some small, but very important parts are made of not the strongest materials - duralumin connecting rods can quickly fail and interrupt field work, which is completely dependent on the walk-behind tractor. But there are no less positive aspects in the operation of this technology.

Its low cost, thanks to which “Luch” and similar walk-behind tractors Cayman, Texas, Foreman, Viking, Forza, Sadko outperform more expensive modern equipment, immediately attracts attention. Manufactured according to GOST, these walk-behind tractors are as strong as steel, because, oddly enough, they are made of steel that is quite strong and of high quality - the small and not the most powerful MB 1, if necessary, can cope with a load weighing up to 900 kilograms

For more information about the MB 1 walk-behind tractor, watch the video:

The same applies to cultivating the land - no matter how “heavy” it is, he will cope with the task, although it will take time. But, when starting work, the Soviet walk-behind tractor requires setup and minimal maintenance, especially after a long period of inactivity. However, like any technology.

Reviews of the Belarus 05 walk-behind tractor

Check the density; Put back the oil pan and casing.

The developers adapted the motor design for use in harsh and extremely difficult climates. But as for additional equipment, not everything is so rosy. Although the cost is approximately the same, Belarusian products are inferior to foreign ones in some respects. Necessary for clearing roads of snow in winter. In Soviet times, the Ulyanovsk plant worked on the production of this motor. This equipment can be connected to a plow, cultivator, mower and other types of equipment. Don’t worry that the MTZ 09n walk-behind tractor can sometimes fail. People say that this technique is one of the most reliable today. But as for additional equipment, not everything is so rosy. As a rule, a dipstick is used to measure the level, which is dropped dry into the tank.

Information

The fuel tank is located on the transmission housing cover.

Even the older models of this walk-behind tractor are expensive, surpassing analogues made in China.

However, there is also a drawback - increased fuel consumption.

This is why people buy MTZ walk-behind tractors in large quantities. The fuel tank is located on the clutch housing, and it is secured to the frame with clamps. If everything is fine with the clutch, but the problem remains, then the gearbox parts may have worn out, then they should be replaced. In this case, the walk-behind tractor will move to the side.

The dimensions of this technique make it possible to process different plants, causing minor damage to the latter. It took 2.5 liters of gasoline. Distinctive features of the power unit are unpretentiousness in fuel quality and maintenance, as well as excellent maintainability.

Motoblock MTZ-05 - characteristics, instructions

Before using it for its intended purpose, be sure to run the unit at idle speed with a minimum of power in order to improve the grinding in of the transmission and engine elements. Valve adjustment It is also necessary to check the gap between the valves regularly, as after a certain period the gap may increase, and this leads to uneven engine operation and insufficient power.

Next is a differential with self-locking capability. Remove the fungus from the shaft and straighten the washer. Its service life is short by modern standards, but you will not have any difficulties with its maintenance or repair. The unit does not have a frame, and a number of transmission housings act as a frame. It is used for easy and quick harvesting of large areas of potatoes, carrots and other root crops. In order to save the engine during the break-in period, the Chinese are playing it safe.

Mikhail (Delman) how can a common man make a jet with a lower throughput?

Using (Ramakrisna) Mikhail, solder the old nozzle with tin and drill a smaller hole, or choose a suitable nozzle, which is more correct

Mikhail (Delman) https://www.wagnerland.ru/index.php? topic=602.msg13410.. it will be clearer here

Denis (Vishala) Awesome article))))

Denis (Vishala) Kostya, Bend or solder the valve foot.

Mikhail (Delman) One more observation: the main jet from a VAZ carburetor is ideal for KDshek carburetors. I'll go tomorrow and ask around for sizes. I have one with a diameter of a millimeter. In principle, it can be adjusted if the original one is lost

Farid (Ratnamala) How many turns should the mixture adjustment screw be turned out before the first start?

Denis (Vishala) Farid, this is the idle speed screw. The mixture in this carburetor is adjusted by the position of the needle and the selection of the jet.

Farid (Ratnamala) Denis, I see, thank you!

Sergey (Volkert) how to understand whether I bought 80 cubes or 50.

Alexey (Eckehard) Unscrew the spark plug from the cylinder, insert a straw into the hole and lower the piston to the bottom position. Now take a 20cc syringe and pour gasoline into the cylinder. You can calculate how much you poured in)) 49 or more, not 80 exactly, but about that)))

Denis (Vishala) Sergey, can I have a photo?

Denis (Vishala) Andriy, very good.

Marat (Aingeal) Alexey, I am tormented by vague doubts, if I lower the piston to the lower position and pour gasoline into the cylinder with a syringe, whether gasoline will flow through the exhaust or inlet windows of the cylinder into the exhaust pipe and into the inside of the engine. In picture 3 you can see that the channels are open when the piston is positioned at the bottom

Alexey (Eckehard) Marat, Logical!! I didn’t think about that))) So the windows can be drowned out, for example, with plasticine. I need to do this test myself. The season will end then and I'll watch it.

Marat (Aingeal) Alexey, I think it’s easier to find out the diameter and stroke of the piston, after which I think it will be possible to calculate the volume of the cylinder.

Vladimir (Achelous) Sergey, Sorry for breaking in without permission, I accidentally ended up on the link. On the F80 the cylinder mounting studs are M8, on the 50 - M6.

Vladimir (Achelous) Alexey, Alexey, this way you will fill in 200 cubes. Everything will flow through the windows into the crankcase, and then into the muffler!

Vladimir (Achelous) To optimize the CD carburetor, first of all you need to lower the fuel level in the carburetor. To do this, just disassemble it, unscrew the inlet fitting, remove the gasket from under it, and carefully put it back together. Without a gasket, the level will drop to (-10) - (-11) mm. Solder the jet with acid and blow into it while the solder is melted. The excess solder will fly out, leaving a hole that needs to be calibrated with a regular sewing needle with a diameter of 0.65 - 0.67 mm, pushing it to the middle and pulling it back. Carefully remove excess solder from the expanded part of the hole with a drill (by MANUAL!) so as not to damage the jet itself, i.e. calibrated part. The throughput capacity of such a jet will be 72-76 ml/min. Full revolutions will appear.

In addition to HONDA, the manufacturer began to combine the walk-behind tractor with engines from Briggs & Stratton and Mitsubishi, which have similar technical parameters.

Details

The mini tractor from the MTZ-05 walk-behind tractor is based on several parts. Let's look at each of them.

Frame and body

Steel channel
These two elements are basic for the entire tractor. Everything else will rest on them. Therefore, for the manufacture of the frame it is best to use strong new metal that has not yet been used.

The ideal material for the frame would be iron channel No. 5, or even better, No. 9. And for the body, high-quality steel with a thickness of 3 mm or more is suitable. Do not be afraid of heavy weight, MTZ-05 is designed to work with such loads.

Seat and steering

Seat
You can take any car seat and install it behind the engine on a prepared frame.

The steering system will also have to be modernized. To do this, you will need to use an old steering wheel from a car or motorcycle. As practice shows, a motorcycle steering wheel is more convenient to use.

Wheels and tires

This is a special part, since the speed of the mini tractor and its grip on the ground will depend on the quality of the tires. Therefore, it is not recommended to use old, “bald” tires.

Installation of levers

The control of the walk-behind tractor also needs to be transferred. Since in the usual form everything was controlled using steering levers, now this will need to be modernized.

Changing control levers:

  1. Move the gas and brake under the pedals of the mini tractor.
  2. Change gears in the classic way using a lever.
  3. Move the ignition button.

Description

The active growth and development of small farming in the 90s provoked industrial enterprises to produce compact units to facilitate agricultural work. These machines were significantly superior to tractors, which the average farmer could not afford to maintain. They were not only compact in size, but also highly maneuverable and productive.

However, by this time the Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ) had already introduced small-sized models Belarus-05, MTZ 082 and MTZ 112 to the agricultural market, which immediately gained popularity due to their reliable design and ease of maintenance. Serial production increased and it was decided to move further production to the Smorgon Aggregate Plant, which was a branch.

The MTZ model range was expanded with walk-behind tractors with different characteristics and, accordingly, they had different indices in the name 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 and 12. But only some 05, 06, 08, 09 and 12 gained popularity thanks to a successful combination functionality and reliability

Today, the main focus at MTZ enterprises is on the production of models 06 and 09

Advantages of MTZ models

  • Versatility, thanks to which you can connect any attachments to the walk-behind tractor to facilitate agricultural work. The design provides not only for the use of plows, cutters, harrows, and other things, but also brushes, blades and snow blowers for cleaning the area.
  • Small dimensions allowing the walk-behind tractor not to take up much space when stored.
  • Maneuverability, which is achieved through a well-thought-out design despite the significant weight of the unit.
  • Easy to maintain.
  • Possibility to repair without resorting to service centers.
  • Low requirements for the quality of fuel and lubricants.
  • Availability of spare parts.

Disadvantages of MTZ walk-behind tractors

  • High cost compared to analogues from other manufacturers;
  • Unclear gear fixation (as noted by owners);
  • The need to apply effort to switch the differential;
  • Mandatory running-in before use.
  • Weight. It can be considered as advantages and disadvantages at the same time, because such walk-behind tractors are quite difficult to control on wet soil.
