Device
The cab is attached to the frame at four points. There are 2 articulated supports in the front part, and 2 sprung supports and a locking mechanism in the rear part. Hinged joints make it easier to tilt the structure. To reduce vibrations transmitted from the frame, the upper brackets are equipped with rubber cushions. The design of the cabin involves its joint mounting with a soft suspension, which consists of springs, telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers and a locking mechanism mounted on a bracket.

11. Installation of an engine preheater from an external 220 V source.
The heater is built into the engine cooling system. The liquid entering it heats up and, expanding, displaces the cooler liquid. This ensures directed circulation of liquid through the electric heater. When the engine heats up to a temperature of 80 °C, the electric heater automatically turns off.
12.Double glazing
The main heat leakage in a car occurs through the glass, since the thermal conductivity of glass is very high, so heat from the passenger compartment is very quickly “dissipated” outside. To retain heat in the cabin, double-glazed windows are installed in the window openings, which prevents fogging and icing of the glass in cold weather. Additionally, leaks in the rubber seals of doors and hatches are checked and corrected.
Suspension
KAMAZ-55102 does not have a smooth ride; the car shakes violently, which negatively affects ride comfort and cargo safety.
You can improve the quality of movement in the following ways:
- Increasing the length of the front suspension. This will increase the vehicle's maneuverability and reduce its sagging under load. The standard springs are removed and larger analogues are installed. The springs are duplicated by long shock absorbers. Preliminary calculations should be carried out so as not to reduce the stability of the vehicle. A suspension that is too high puts additional pressure on the axle.
- Strengthening the rear suspension. An additional sheet is installed or parts are completely replaced. You can raise the rear of the car even more with the help of plastic inserts, giving an additional 3-5 cm.
