The hydraulic system of the gearbox is charged using a supercharger through a filling filter (Fig. 25) mounted on the right rack of the engine water radiator.
You can add and check the oil level in the gearbox of the T-150 tracked tractor only with the engine running (4 - 5 minutes after starting). The level is controlled by the inspection window on the gearbox on the left side of the tractor. Excess oil is drained through the drain plug located at the bottom of the hydraulic panel on the same side as the inspection window.
On a wheeled tractor, add and check the oil level in the gearbox with the engine stopped. The level is set during refueling and monitored during operation using the inspection window on the transfer case housing.
To change the oil in the hydraulic system of gearboxes, drain it through the drain plugs on the tank of the gearbox hydraulic panel (T-150) and on the transfer case housing (T-150K). Then remove and wash the oil filters, clean and wash the plugs.
After installing the parts in place, you should fill the system with clean oil, start the SMD engine of the T-150 tractor, work for 4 - 5 minutes, sequentially changing gears without moving the tractor, and then set the oil level as indicated above.
Lubricating driveshafts
The needle bearings of the cardan joints must be lubricated using a syringe. Pre-clean the oilers from dirt.
Rice. 26. Lubricating the splines of the cardan shaft of the rear axle of the T-150K tractor.
The lubricant is pumped until it comes out of the control valve. The splined joints of the universal joints are lubricated through grease nipples on the flanges (Fig. 26).

Lubrication of drive axles and final drives
Home » Library » Tractor T-150 » Tractor lubrication » Lubrication of drive axles and final drives
The oil level in the drive axles must be at least 10 mm from the lower edge of the central hole in the final drive covers. Add oil using a supercharger (Fig. 27). Check the level no earlier than 20 minutes after stopping the T-150 tractor.
When changing oil in axles, drainage is done through drain plugs (a special key is included for unscrewing and screwing in plugs with an internal square). Drain the oil from the wheel gearboxes through the drain plugs; to do this, turn the gearboxes so that the plugs are located at the bottom. After draining, tighten the drain plugs and fill the axles and final drives with diesel fuel instead of oil. Fuel is poured through the central hole of the final drives.
Having installed the control plugs, breathers and final drive plugs in place, you need to start the SMD engine and drive the tractor back and forth for 5 minutes (without load on the hook). After this, stop the T-150 tractor, drain the dirty diesel fuel and fill the mechanisms with clean oil (the tractor must stand on a horizontal platform).
