Carburetor for walk-behind tractor MTZ-05. Motoblock MTZ-05. Model description, application features and video reviews

The Minsk Tractor Plant produced the MTZ Belarus 05 walk-behind tractor for the first time. This model of agricultural machinery was produced in 1978-1992. This walk-behind tractor is a chassis on two wheels, with a reversible steering bar, a single-cylinder engine and a power transmission. This equipment has a wheeled layout, so it is positioned as an agricultural installation.

The history of MTZ Belarus 05 is very rich. In 1978, the plant began producing mini-equipment in a wide range. Early models of MTZ walk-behind tractors were considered as a replacement for traditional mini-tractors. The basis for them was a chassis with one axle. It happened that a walk-behind tractor was connected to a trolley, which made it a fully functional vehicle.

Adjusting the fuel level on the carburetor. SUPPLY SYSTEM

The UD-15 and UD-25 engines are equipped with a K-16M carburetor. The carburetor structure is shown in Figures 10, 11.

Carburetor 3 (Figure 10) is adapted to work with a centrifugal regulator: the throttle valve 6 is controlled by a lever with a sphere, which is affected by the regulator lever 7. For manual control of the throttle, there is a leash 2 in the upper part.

The air damper 9 is controlled manually.

The engine is adjusted at low idle speeds using a thrust adjusting screw 4 located on the throttle lever in the upper part. The quality of the mixture at idle is adjusted using screw 5.

Fuel is supplied to the carburetor by diaphragm fuel pump 10 from a separate gas tank not connected to the engine.

The operation of the fuel pump is carried out by a cam located on the camshaft. The design provides a lever for manual drive of the fuel pump.

Air enters the carburetor through an inertia-oil air filter 1.

The fuel level in the float chamber is maintained at a constant -19±2.0 mm from the connector using float 1 (Figure 11) and shut-off needle 2. When the float is lowered, the channel through which fuel enters from the fuel pump is open. Fuel, filling the float chamber, raises the float, which closes the fuel supply channel with a shut-off needle. There is a float stopper in the float chamber cover.

The carburetor float chamber is not balanced. The idle system is supplied with fuel through a separate idle jet.

Still have questions?

MTZ walk-behind tractors Belarus-made walk-behind tractors are quite small, but at the same time very effective machines for cultivating land, as well as other agricultural tasks. Also, owners of cars from MTZ believe that this is a fairly strong model with a good engine.

The articulation is carried out using a hitch unit. With its help, the walk-behind tractor reaches a speed of 9.6 km per hour.

Gearbox Many owners of walk-behind tractors complain about the characteristic sound that comes from the gearbox when the unit is operating.

Brief history The MTZ 09 walk-behind tractor was created in 2016. However, there is also a drawback - increased fuel consumption. This makes the process of putting the engine into operation much easier.

Hang one of the removed weights on the mower to balance the unit, as stated in the mower's operating instructions.

Adjusting the carburetor to 16 fuel level. Diagram and principle of operation of the K-16A carburetor

The K-16A or K-16 carburetor (see Fig. 10.7) is installed on P-10U starting engines intended for starting tractor diesel engines. It consists of a float chamber 1, nozzles 11 and 18, a diffuser 22, a throttle and air damper 15 and 18. Fuel flows by gravity from the tank through a pipeline through fittings, a strainer 4 and a shut-off needle valve 6 into the float chamber 1. A constant fuel level is maintained float 2 with a shut-off needle valve 6 with a seat 5 and a balancing channel 7. The float chamber communicates through channel 21 with the well 19 of the main jet, closed by a lid 20. Above the main jet there is a sprayer 17, the upper end of which goes into the diffuser 22. The jet 18 and the sprayer form main dosing system. Fuel from the main jet can flow through channel 16 to the idle jet 11 and then into channels 9 and 12, the first of which exits into the carburetor inlet pipe, and the second is connected through hole 13 to the mixing chamber. The flow area of the nozzle 11 can be changed by screw 10. When the engine is running, under the influence of a pressure difference between the float chamber and the diffuser, fuel flows out of the atomizer, is atomized and mixed with air. The amount of fuel supplied through the main metering system increases with increasing crankshaft speed, and when the throttle valve 15 is open, the mixture may become over-rich. Therefore, to maintain the required mixture composition at maximum power, an idle system is used. At high vacuum in the diffuser, air is sucked into channel 16 from the inlet pipe and enters the space between the main jet and the atomizer, thereby reducing the flow of fuel through the main jet and ensuring the required composition of the combustible mixture.

In idle mode, the throttle valve is closed, the main metering system does not work, and the required amount of enriched combustible mixture enters the mixing chamber through the idle system. In this case, under the influence of strong vacuum in the mixing chamber, the fuel rises through channel 16 through nozzle 11, mixing with air entering through channel 9, then the rich emulsion enters the mixing chamber. The amount of mixture can be adjusted with screw 10. When starting a cold engine, the combustible mixture is enriched by closing the air damper 8.

Reviews of the Belarus 05 walk-behind tractor

Check the density; Put back the oil pan and casing.

The developers adapted the motor design for use in harsh and extremely difficult climates. But as for additional equipment, not everything is so rosy. Although the cost is approximately the same, Belarusian products are inferior to foreign ones in some respects.

Necessary for clearing roads of snow in winter. In Soviet times, the Ulyanovsk plant worked on the production of this motor. This equipment can be connected to a plow, cultivator, mower and other types of equipment.

Don’t worry that the MTZ 09n walk-behind tractor can sometimes fail. People say that this technique is one of the most reliable today. But as for additional equipment, not everything is so rosy. As a rule, a dipstick is used to measure the level, which is dropped dry into the tank.

Functions of the Belarus 05 walk-behind tractor

Read reviews about the MTZ walk-behind tractor.
The machine is easy to operate, and the area they can cover can be quite large. The reason for the first three problems is irregular inspection and preventive procedures, but with the fourth, everything is not so simple - it shows that the engine cylinder is worn out and requires repair, perhaps even with a complete replacement of the engine. What is it for? Care Caring for a walk-behind tractor includes regular maintenance. If any problems arise, replacing the problematic element will not be difficult. What is it for? When mowing, turn smoothly; there should be no people in the blade grip area. Gearbox Many owners of walk-behind tractors complain about the characteristic sound that comes from the gearbox when the unit is operating. The equipment can work under load without unnecessary difficulties.

The transmission system is mechanical only. If there is enough oil and the noise does not stop, then the problem lies in the gears. The power that the device is capable of is 6.6 kW or 9 liters. The UD is fully adapted for operation at low or, conversely, high air temperatures. Early models of MTZ walk-behind tractors were considered as a replacement for traditional mini-tractors.
