Balkankar DV1792 is a powerful and compact mobile loading unit. The machine was created by the largest manufacturer of loading equipment, which is located in Bulgaria. The company has its own production and its own technologies, which are successfully used in Balkankar products. This also applies directly to the DV1792 model, which has great potential for working in difficult conditions. The machine is designed for heavy loads, which is confirmed by factory tests, as well as positive user reviews. Balkankar DV1792 is a budget device that amazingly meets the needs of construction and warehouse organizations, corporations and concerns. This article presents the key features of the Balkankar DV1792 forklift, its technical specifications, capabilities, device features and model cost.
Purpose
Balkankar DV 1792 is primarily a forklift for working in open and closed warehouses. This is facilitated not only by compact dimensions, which allow working in cramped conditions, but also by high performance, endurance and adaptation to harsh weather conditions, as well as the ability to install additional options. The equipment is in demand in operations for lifting and transporting cargo containers, and placing them on racks. Having the necessary attachments, the Dv 1792 model is capable of working with heavy concrete structures, bulk materials, various construction waste, and also participating in municipal procedures - for example, removing snow, debris and dust from sidewalks, squares, industrial, park and parking areas, and as well as city and pedestrian roads. Next, let's look at how you can expand the potential of the Balkankar Dv 1792 using attachments.
Attachments
- The brush is a universal device for municipal services. Thus, the most popular are road, rotary and utility brushes, which allow you to quickly deal with any debris - be it leaves, sand, soil, construction waste, dust, garbage, etc. The brush is in demand mainly in warehouses, parks, parking areas , as well as on pedestrian paths and roadways. This device is also suitable for removing snow.
- Fork extensions are an attachment that eliminates the need to move from one side of the truck to the other to place a load in the truck bed. It is in such a situation that fork extensions come in handy, when using them you can unload from one side of the truck. Loading onto a forklift is done in the same way.
- The bucket is mounted, made of a durable frame and metal alloy. Installs without the need to dismantle standard forks. It is equipped with a hydraulic system that allows you to control the bucket directly from the cab, using a lever from the cab. A universal type bucket with a large lifting capacity and designed primarily for transporting goods.
- A barrel gripper is an indispensable device for working with barrels. The option is equipped with a special grip that firmly holds the barrel so that its walls are not damaged (crumpled) and the barrel itself does not fall out. The gripper arms compress the walls of the barrel, thereby ensuring safe transportation from one place to another.
- The side shift carriage is a device that improves productivity and also makes forklift operation easier. Thanks to this option, you can change the positioning of the load without additional maneuvers, by moving the forks from the load axle.
- Fork positioner - allows you to automatically change the width of the forks, without the need to leave the cab or manually adjust the forks. In our case, the adjustment is carried out using a lever located in the operator's cabin.
- A gripper is a load-handling attachment that is indispensable when working with a variety of loads that differ in size, shape and weight. In particular, these can be barrels, boxes, bales, etc.
- A rotator is an attachment that is simple in design and consists of a hydraulic motor. Its main purpose is to increase efficiency and productivity, for example, if you need to quickly move and change the position of a load in a vertical plane.
- A telescopic fork is an attachment ideal for transporting pallets, the length and width of which may vary. This mounted option is ideal for unloading or loading cargo containers from one side of the truck. This is very convenient, especially compared to conventional fork extensions.
- The stabilizer is a mounted accessory for safe and reliable work with loads that are easily damaged. This could include items that are easily breakable, such as glass or valuable, fragile cargo. The stabilizer is a clamp in the form of a pressing platform, to which the load itself is directly attached during transportation, thereby ensuring safe movement.
- Pin - allows you to reduce to a minimum the costs of working with cargo in warehouses. In fact, the pin is an alternative to the barrel grip, as it is also capable of working with cylindrical objects. The option name "pin" can be replaced with "mandrel" or "spade".
- A crane boom is a device for moving cargo in airspace. Suitable for cases where, due to obstacles, it is impossible to transport cargo on the ground. In addition, the crane boom is suitable for placing loads at a certain height - or vice versa, for lowering them from a height to the ground. In such situations, a blockless mounted crane boom for a forklift is the best option.
- A snow bucket is a snow-removing attachment capable of sweeping and clearing roads of any type of snow - wet, dry, as well as compacted or freshly fallen snowdrifts. This bucket is a worthy alternative to narrow-profile snowblowers.
- A rotary blade equipped with a hydraulic drive is used as a cleaning device and is designed for cleaning sidewalks and roadways not only from debris, dust, leaves, but also snowdrifts, as well as construction waste - sand, crushed stone, clay, concrete structures and etc. The blade has a large load capacity, which allows you to capture a large volume of cargo at a time.
Device Features
- Balkankar DV 1792 is a universal loading device with good maneuverability, smoothness and controllability. Thanks to the short wheelbase, the machine is able to turn around with a minimum radius, which is very useful in warehouses where it is necessary to avoid various obstacles - for example, racks or cargo trucks. In terms of maneuverability, the DV 1792 model is clearly superior to its closest competitor, the Still RC40-16.
- The high-ratio hydrodynamic transmission operates almost silently, without vibration or lag. The operator's workplace is comfortable and protected not only from drafts and noise, but also in the event of a rollover. This is facilitated by a rigid welded cab frame. All controls, including sensors and instrumentation, are optimally located, within reach, and without having to reach for them. Using the instrument panel, you can monitor and control the position and degree of loading of components, assemblies and working parts, monitor fuel consumption, engine hour meter, temperature in the internal combustion engine and coolant. In addition, we note several solutions that helped improve visibility: these are thin body pillars, a large central rear-view mirror, and a wide glass area. Let’s also pay attention to the interior heating system, which is useful in harsh times of the year, for example at minus 30 degrees below zero.
- The performance is ensured by a 4-cylinder power plant with a capacity of 78 horsepower, as well as a fuel system with a high-pressure pump, providing a crankshaft speed of 2500 rpm. As a result, it was possible to achieve a maximum lifting capacity of 3 tons, and this with a dead loader weight of 4770 kg. The average load lifting speed is 60 cm/min, and the maximum lifting height can reach 4500 mm.
- A massive chassis with an all-welded structure takes on the main load and allows you to fully unleash the potential of all working parts of the Balkankar DV 1792 loader. The engine is fixed to the frame using two powerful brackets, and the drive axle is fixed by two plates that are welded to the frame. The lifting mechanism is mounted on the beam body and includes a movable and fixed frame with a vertical trolley. The drive axle is rigidly mounted to the front of the chassis, and is capable of transmitting maximum torque through a hydrodynamic gearbox.
- Lifting cargo containers on a Balkankar DV1792 forklift consists of two stages. So, first the load-bearing beam is activated, lifting the vertical trolley. In this case, the free play height can be adjusted within 150 mm. After this, the movable frame rises under the influence of the cylinder piston. When the weight is lowered, the above process is repeated in reverse order. Please note that to ensure a smooth tilt of the lifting unit, the machine is equipped with two double-acting piston cylinders, as well as DN-16 throttles with a check valve. The additional throttle is designed to limit the speed of lowering the cargo container in case of overload.
- The steering mechanism is equipped with a hydraulic booster, which provides good maneuverability and eliminates tight force on the steering wheel. The nominal turning force pressure is 15 MPa, which indicates the rapid response of the wheels to steering wheel rotation. This allows you to quickly maneuver even at an angle of 90 degrees, which is very important when passing through tight corridors, as well as when making a turn. By the way, the turning radius is 2.44 meters, and the maximum speed of the loader reaches 22 km/h.
"Balkankar Record": history of the plant
For more than six decades, the Bulgarian mechanical engineering company has been working in the field of auto mechanisms and for most of its existence has been producing forklifts. The beginning of today's organization back in November 1950 was the founding of the Vasil Kolarov car repair plant. This company served customers with cars produced in the countries of the socialist bloc - the USSR, the GDR, and Czechoslovakia. Starting with 500 cars, the plant gradually increased the volume of its activities sevenfold.
In 1965, an important event took place in the history of the company - re-profiling. Now, while continuing to work on repairing cars, Vasil Kolarov, soon renamed Record, also produces forklifts and electric forklifts. In 1969, the first tractor rolled off the assembly line, and in 1979, the first forklift with a lifting capacity of 2-4 tons with a Record 2 diesel engine. In March 1980, the plant celebrated a significant milestone in its journey: starting with the first model of the BV 2733 loader, over fifteen years Record produced a total of 100 thousand loaders. The anniversary car was solemnly sent to a friendly enterprise in the Soviet Union - a plant in Tolyatti that produces Volga cars. By this time, the plant has been part of the Balkankar complex (Sofia) for three years. The enterprise remained part of this structure for almost two decades, until 1995. For the period 1977-1995. such new models as the Record 3 forklift (load capacity 8 tons), Record 2M, and Europe M have been developed and produced. Having shortly before the end of this period “inherited” a new official name - “Balkankar Record” (which the company continues to bear to this day), in 1995, already in the conditions of capitalism and a market economy, the company regained its independence,
From this moment on, Balkankar Record JSC has been developing intensively, increasingly expanding the range of its products. The last two decades have been marked by the emergence of a significant number of new series of loaders and other transport units designed to move heavy loads. These include the Record 2S forklift (year of manufacture of the first model - 1998, load capacity 2-5 tons), Record 3S forklift (2002, load capacity 8 tons), electric loader with an electric motor "Curtis" (2003, load capacity 1.6 t), electric trolleys “ET15” (2005, load capacity 15 t), “ET2” (2010, load capacity 2 t) and “ET3” (2010, load capacity 3 t).
JSC "Balkankar Record" repeatedly presents its products at the technical fair in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv. In 2007, a reach truck with a lifting capacity of 1.6 tons was demonstrated to the public there for the first time. In 2012, visitors were offered the first model of a modern, environmentally friendly series of forklifts - “Record 2E” (load capacity 3.5 tons), showing that the company does not lag behind life and produces equipment that truly meets the requirements and standards of the modern world.
