DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
The Liebherr PR 724 L is a new generation German bulldozer that combines high power and maneuverability. The weight of the equipment provides excellent stability, allowing for a wide range of excavation work. The machine is easy to operate, and the reliability of the components is ensured by numerous tests and the high quality characteristic of products from Germany.

Bulldozer Liebherr PR 724 Litronic
The PR 724 Litronic is the new generation bulldozer from Liebherr, ideal for use in a variety of applications, from landscaping to pipeline construction. Thanks to the optimal combination of dimensions and driving characteristics, the machine is distinguished by maneuverability and high speed of movement, showing impressive results even when working with hard soils in the most difficult conditions.
The bulldozer is presented in three versions - PR 724 L Litronic, PR 724 XL Litronic and PR 724 LGP Litronic.
Execution One of the main advantages of the bulldozer is the elongated chassis, which provides additional smoothness, and elastic components with a swinging balance beam. This design allows you to compensate for uneven ground conditions, thereby effectively softening shaking and providing the machine with additional stability. The PR 724 Litronic hydrostatic drive provides the bulldozer with high maneuverability (it can turn on the spot), which allows the machine to be used in cramped conditions. Maximum performance when moving and loosening material is ensured by a powerful diesel engine and high traction force of the hydraulic drive.
Reliability The combination of time-tested technologies and high quality materials and components developed specifically for construction machines has made the word Liebherr a household word, meaning “reliability, durability, wear resistance.” The hydrostatic drive of the PR 724 Litronic is virtually wear-resistant, the reinforced final drives are designed to withstand the heaviest loads, and the diesel engine is designed to withstand the toughest conditions.

Constantly low engine speeds, efficient drive and work equipment hydraulics, adjustable depending on the current load, minimize fuel consumption. Safety Operational safety is the main principle that guides Liebherr when developing equipment. When creating the PR 724 Litronic, many solutions were used to minimize the risk of emergency situations. The safe operation of the bulldozer is ensured by such means as a stepless hydrostatic drive, an audible reverse alarm, ROPS/FOPS cab protection, an automatic parking brake, and an intuitive control system that virtually eliminates the possibility of erroneous operator actions caused by the “human factor.”
ENGINE
The Liebherr PR 724 L is equipped with an in-house produced unit, model Liebherr D 934 L A6. The engine has a 4-cylinder, 16-valve inline design with steel pistons, wet cylinder liners, gear-driven oil, fuel, coolant pumps and separate heads. The engine is characterized by the presence of air cooling of the supplied air, an AGR exhaust recirculation system and turbocharging. The unit complies with the Euro-3 environmental class.
The engine cooling system is represented by a combined type radiator, which includes various sections. The engine is lubricated under pressure and remains effective when operating at a 45-degree slope in any direction. The injection mechanism consists of a PLD (direct injection) system electronically controlled by the LH-ECU.
Characteristics of the Liebherr D 934 L A6 unit:
- working volume – 7 l;
- rated power - 129 (175) kW (hp);
- rotation speed – 1800 rpm;
- cylinder diameter – 122 mm.
The electrical starting system is represented by a starter (7.8 kW), 2 batteries (170 Ah each) and a reinforced generator (80 A).
DEVICE Liebherr PR 724 L
The design of the Liebherr PR 724 L is incredibly robust, achieved through the use of proven technologies and the reinforcement of elements subject to increased stress.
The bulldozer transmission is continuously variable hydraulic, equipped with an independent track drive. Speeds are adjustable within the ranges:
- Range 1 (reverse) – 0-4 (0-4.8) km/h;
- Range 2 (reverse) – 0-6.5 (0-7.8) km/h;
- Range 3 (reverse) – 0-11 (0-11) km/h.
The operator turns on the range using a button located on the control joystick. The steering is hydrostatic. Traction force – 235 kN.
The brake system of the Liebherr PR 724 L is represented by service, parking and emergency brakes of a non-wearing type.
The chassis of the vehicle is of the tracked type. The suspension of the roller frames is located on rotary axle shafts and a balancing swing beam. Track chains with single-rib tracks and spring-hydraulic tensioners are used.
Undercarriage parameters (L/LX/LGP):

The closed cabin of the Liebherr PR 724 is designed similarly to other products of the brand. It is equipped with elastic suspension and FOPS/ROPS protection. The basic seat is adjusted according to the driver's weight. Controls and information presentation provide maximum ease of use. The noise level in the cabin does not exceed 77 dB.

Bulldozer Liebherr 724
Considered one of the simplest models in the range, the Liebherr PR 724 bulldozer has a considerable weight of 19 to 20 tons and is equipped with a blade with a capacity of 3.14 to 4.27 m3. This allows the equipment to perform a wide range of work, including an excellent model for performing planning work. This is made possible by the presence of an extended chassis and certain of its components with a balancing beam. The correct chassis promotes good maneuverability on uneven surfaces, where all vibrations are also softened as much as possible.
Another feature can be considered the presence of the Litronic control system, which operates electronically and allows it to produce excellent traction regardless of the angle of movement and the developed speed. You can safely carry out excavation and construction work at maximum performance. The peculiarity of such a system is in its operating principle - a special liquid is transferred from the engine to the propulsion unit and is located in a closed loop.
The 724 model is equipped with a proprietary engine with a power of 118 kW or 160 horses. This is achievable thanks to 4 cylinders, a total volume of 7 liters and a maximum rotation of up to 1,800 rpm. Powered by diesel fuel, it is maximally economical during long-term operation. The bulldozer is capable of reaching a maximum of 11 km/h, the overall dimensions are quite compact - length 4.11 m, width 2.64 m, and height 3.19 meters. Presented as a tracked model. The dump has a maximum depth of 0.52 meters, lifting is carried out to a maximum of 1.17 meters.
Bulldozer Liebherr 776
This model deserves special attention, because it is absolutely new on the market and has incredible technical characteristics. For the German brand, this is the first bulldozer with a weight of 70 tons, the main field of application is the mining industry of varying complexity. The engine and structural parts are fully adapted to the most demanding loads.
It is based on a diesel engine of our own production with 12 cylinders, the total power is 759 hp. (or 565 kW). The main working element is a hemispherical blade, which has a volume of 18 m3. You can choose a blade with a maximum capacity of 22 tons, but in a spherical shape. The total weight of the equipment is 74 tons.
For such a model, a new hydrostatic transmission without speeds will be used, which allows you to effectively control the equipment with maximum efficiency. The simple operation of the hydrostatic transmission helps ensure excellent maneuverability and speed. A powerful motor and a large blade make it possible to carry out pushing and loosening procedures with maximum productivity.
Bulldozer Liebherr PR 736
It is also considered a completely new model, which was recently introduced and prepared for serial production. Upgrades include an improved electronics system and a comfortable operator's cabin. Now there are 2 joysticks for control, one of which directly controls the movement of the bulldozer, the second is responsible for the operation of the blade. The blade is available in capacities from 3.80 to 5.86 cm3. The maximum depth of the blade is within 0.54 meters, the maximum lifting height is 1.2 meters.
The PR 736 model is equipped with an engine with a power of 150 kW or 204 horsepower. The thrust is quite sufficient - 274 kN. In addition to the improved design, the manufacturer also offered an advanced display in the cab to show the status of the bulldozer. Even in the basic version, the cabin is offered with air conditioning.
