But when it’s loaded, it drives smoothly and there’s no doubt that you’ll get stuck, otherwise there was a case where you pulled onto the side of the road but couldn’t get out, it grinds and that’s it, neither forward nor backward, but when there’s a load, it’s on the highway he drives more confidently.

There are no complaints about the interior, everything is at hand, but they were too clever with the gear lever, it is installed too close to the dashboard, when shifting into 3rd and 5th gear you have to move your whole body forward, which you wouldn’t want, or move the seats forward. The steering wheel is thick and has a comfortable grip. Everything is at hand, but the light switch, which is located under the wiper lever, is not very convenient, to be honest, sometimes I touch it and the lights can stay on all night, but the beeper when the door is opened saves the day. The seats - well, what can I say, there are few adjustments, but enough for me to sit comfortably, for sure. There is also a height adjustment, I raise the seat all the way. I sit high and look far away. There is a problem with the seat belts: if you fold them poorly, they hit the center pillar, you have to adjust them after the passengers, otherwise it gets on your nerves))

And now about his metal. Rotting. The rear and front arches are rotting very badly, but the sills are not. I looked and checked - there is no rust, although impacts on the sills are visible. Door handles and locks are their disease. If someone doesn’t know how to open the door, they can break both the key and the handle. Mirrors are just super, big mugs, and also with a blind spot, it has helped out more than once: it seems like you look in the mirror and there is no one there, but you look in the blind spot and they are right next to you. At first I couldn’t get used to it, I was confused, but now I can’t live without them))) And I don’t need any electronic gadgets))) One big minus is that it doesn’t have air conditioning, it’s very hot, the roof is low, and it’s also short-wheelbase, so it heats up quickly , you have to look for shadows)))

I changed the wheel bearings on the left side, front and rear. They were still family, they overheated and there was a terrible buzz, all the people turned around when they passed, now it seems to have become quieter. I changed the springs on each side and the bushings, otherwise they were in a very poor condition, I installed ganov springs, cut them in width and length, the master installed them - like original ones, but also a bit harsh. There is also a problem with the rear door: it is not a pair, but one, like on hatchbacks, it opens upward. So, if there is dirt, and not only dirt, the same dust, then it’s easy to get your hands dirty, but for this I have wet wipes in the cabin)))

Engine: the so-called spider, is when the manifold, or something, goes on top of the engine, without a turbine. He will be faster and faster. The problem is changing the air filter: the Germans planted it very deep, first you need to unscrew the power steering reservoir, and then remove the filter itself, but also with pain. You can get to the starter with two hands, there is plenty of space. The dipstick, oh that dipstick, who installed it like that, you can’t pull the dipstick out without getting smeared, since both the tank and the hose from the tank are in the way. But he loves oil, he has no appetite, change the oil every 5000, and I have already added more than 1.5 liters to him, but they have this disease.
