About the Turkish manufacturer, Temsa Global model range

The leading automobile company in Turkey, Temsa Global, one of the top five largest bus factories in the world, produces and sells automobile equipment under its own brand in the domestic and international markets. Temsa Global has a total annual production capacity of 11,500 vehicles produced at its manufacturing plant in Adana. More than 4,000 buses and 7,500 light trucks are produced annually.

At a plant with a total area of ​​more than 500 thousand square meters, Temsa Global produces tourist, intercity and urban models. The US market is represented by the TS 35 and TS 30 . Tourist Safari HD 10, 12, 13: 53 seats and more

Safari buses have been produced since 1999. This is a large tourist bus, which since 2001 has been offered in three lengths - 10.7, 12.0 and 12.8 m. The next generation of Safari HD models was offered in versions of 12 and 12.8 meters, the number of seats in which was 53+1+1 and 57+1+1. Now the manufacturer sells the HD tourist bus, presented in two modifications that differ in body length: 12,276 and 13,076 meters.

Temsa Opalin is a middle-class bus, built on components and assemblies from leading European manufacturers: MAN engines and axles, ZF gearboxes and steering, WEBASTO air conditioning and heating systems.

Produced in 2 modifications:

• Opalin 8 (7.63 m., number of seats 31+1+1, 180 hp);
• Opalin 9 (8.4 m., number of seats 35+1+1, 220 hp).

Prestij, based on Mitsubishi

Temsa Prestij is a family of middle class buses with 27-29 seats. It is also offered for export under the name Temsa Samba.

In 1997, the Temsa Prestij model was introduced with 28 passenger seats and a total capacity of 42 people. Its steel frame frame housed a MAN 4-cylinder diesel engine (4.58 liters, 156 hp) with turbocharging and intercooling at the front, as well as a 5-speed manual gearbox . The bus has a front suspension on parabolic springs and a rear pneumatic suspension, a power steering mechanism, and an electromagnetic retarder. The bus reached a maximum speed of 130 km/h. Later, the Prestij Deluxe modification appeared.

In 2004, the model was modernized by changing the front part.

In 2007, a completely new model was introduced called Temsa Prestij Super Deluxe with 27-29 seats, based on the seventh generation Mitsubishi Fuso Canter. The car received a Mitsubishi 4D342AT4 engine (volume 3,908 liters, power 136 hp at 2900 rpm and maximum torque of 370 Nm at 1600 rpm), a 5-speed manual transmission Mitsubishi MO35S5, front and rear leaf spring suspension.

In 2008, an urban version of Super Deluxe called Temsa Prestij City was introduced.

In 2016, the Temsa Prestij SX was introduced for 27-29 seats, based on the eighth generation Mitsubishi Fuso Canter. The car received a Mitsubishi 4P10-T4 engine (volume 2,998 liters, power 150 hp at 3500 rpm and maximum torque of 370 Nm at 1320 rpm), a 5-speed manual transmission.

Super Deluxe/SD

Description and device inside

Body. Externally, the model stands out among others. The first thing that attracts attention is the round headlight lenses, hidden in a deep longitudinal stamping that stretches across the entire front panel. Another distinctive element is the mesh radiator grille, like a sports car. It provides the greatest air flow to the radiator, visually lightens the nose and gives a dynamically aggressive look. Not forgotten is such a popular attribute of tourist liners as mirrors hanging over the windshield - “snail horns”, painted in the color of the body.

In profile, the semicircular stampings above the wheel arches, the flowing window line of the front door and the streamlined plastic housing of the air conditioner on the roof look fresh. The high rear part gives the bus solidity. The rear round light blocks, enclosed in wavy recesses, look original. The rear window, which tapers downward with a couple of stamps underneath it, is also memorable.

Salon. You can enter the salon through two fairly wide doors in the front and rear parts of the body. You can open and close them from the outside using a remote control or a special button. By grasping the handrail, painted yellow for clarity, and climbing two steps (and three at the back), you find yourself inside.

The basic version has 27 passenger seats. But you have to pay for the increased capacity with a reduced seat pitch, which is already small on the bus: the distance from back to back is about 600 mm. The seats are equipped with retractable armrests, two-point seat belts, storage nets and folding tables. The back of the chair reclines to the “sleeping” position. You can also change the distance between the seats in a row by moving the outer ones towards the aisle.

Convenient individual lighting and ventilation controls . Luggage racks are installed under the ceiling. Passenger comfort is ensured by the presence of air conditioning. Information about the temperature in the cabin is displayed on a large display above the windshield, which is clearly visible from any passenger seat.

In cold weather, comfort will be provided by the optional “winter package”, which includes an auxiliary interior heater, engine pre-heater, fuel tank heating and double glazing.

The driver's workplace is comfortable, with a fairly low seating position. Everything is at hand. The front panel has an original design with two round ventilation deflectors protruding from the visor. The instruments have large and clear scales. The tachometer with a pronounced red zone is especially good. The front panel is made of gray plastic. Two-spoke steering wheel. The steering column is adjustable in two planes. Driver's seat with adjustable backrest and cushion angle. Its suspension has variable stiffness: to do this, you need to use a rotary handle to select in the window the number corresponding to the driver’s weight in kilograms.

Maraton

The Maraton tourist one-and-a-half-decker bus, produced since 2015, is offered in two modifications: Maraton 12 and Maraton 13.
