The Compass project, as it turns out, should cover the entire range of light- and medium-tonnage commercial vehicles: KAMAZ is going to produce vehicles of five gross weight classes!
This is a challenge not only to “Kornets”, “Valdays” and “GAZons” - “Compasses” will compete even with “GAZelles”! And also with Japanese (Fuso, Hino, Isuzu), Korean (Hyundai) and Chinese (FAW, Foton, JAC) small and medium-duty vehicles, which have already won their shares in the vast Russian market.
