Since 1975, New Holland combines have been manufactured using advanced Twin Rotor technology, which still occupies pride of place in modern models. These machines are in great demand regardless of the economic situation in the world.
The average cost of Holland equipment is about 75 thousand dollars. The amount is quite impressive even for large farms. Therefore, in the CIS countries, these combines are mainly purchased in used condition, but also at a high cost. Equipped with modern mechanisms and electronics, they are very easy to operate, have great power and speed of operation, and allow you to harvest crops with minimal losses, which is beneficial for agricultural farms.
Differences between New Holland combines
All manufactured models of New Holland combines are equipped with various functional systems, which are created in a wide variety, using the latest technologies, using high ingenuity.
The most interesting devices:
New Holland combine IntelliCruise system
- SmartSlev. This equipment has a hinged connection for the sieves, the fan speed is adjustable, the system design allows you to control the lateral tilt of the machine and the uniform distribution of grain.
- Varifected. A header with a longitudinal reach of up to 50 cm or more of the cutting part, controlled remotely, depending on the type of crop. This allows you to constantly work at high speed.
- Lateral float. A header whose design ensures that the terrain of the area is repeated during operation to obtain the same cutting height.
- IntelliCruise. The electronic system, which constantly ensures optimal operation in various operating conditions of the combine, regulates the loading of the header, which varies depending on the level of productivity of the site.
- SmartSteer. A laser system that corrects the movement of the machine, which controls the compressed and not yet processed area, determining their boundary with an accuracy of 1 cm. Allows you to avoid gaps and overlaps.

The lineup
New Holland combines are produced in several model series. Each of them is designed for certain types of work and different operating conditions. Even during their development, it was decided to produce the same type of machines with different performance levels. There are several varieties of them, but in Europe two series of this equipment are produced - one is universal, designed for many types of crops, and the other is small models convenient for small farms.
Design of New Holland grain harvesters
The most common models:
- TC 5000 – for harvesting in small areas with complex geometry.
- CX 6000–8000 are universal, for installing many types of equipment.
- CSX 7000 - have average productivity, used mainly for work on areas up to 1500 hectares.
- CR 9000 – high productivity combines, these powerful machines are designed to work on fields of more than 2500 hectares.
Device Feature
Self-propelled combines, which are produced in several main types, can be configured into any optimal options due to additional equipment, depending on the planned application. Their designs make it possible to optimize work, quickly reconfigure equipment for various crops, automate processes, and avoid downtime for maintenance.
Function for automatically adjusting combine parameters for the crop being harvested
The combines have economical engines that are characterized by high power and at the same time low fuel consumption. The engines are equipped with fans for reliable cooling even in the hottest weather. The operator cabins are comfortable, with an optimal microclimate, good visibility, sound insulation, and vibration protection.
The feeder chamber has an automatic header mechanism, the cutting height is adjustable. The standard factory equipment includes a hydraulic reel control drive. The grain cleaning device has a cleaning fan, three adjustable sieves - upper, lower, for pre-cleaning. For grain storage and unloading there is a bunker with an indicator of its filling.
Series
The NewHolland company offers several series of combines, which, through additional equipment, allow you to configure the version of the machine that will be most optimally suited for the planned application.
Combines of this series are primarily focused on harvesting forage crops and corn, for which various types of headers are designed. Specialized corn harvesters can be used both on young low plants and for harvesting mature plants with hard stems. The versatility of this combine is given by the fact that, if necessary, you can install a proprietary Varifeed grain harvester. The stability of the position of all headers in relation to the ground is guaranteed by the proprietary AutoFloat system.
Features of harvesting forage crops require precise coordination of the actions of both the combine and the simultaneously loaded cargo vehicle. The IntelliFill system, which controls the dimensions of the body and the uniformity of its filling, frees the operator from the need to constantly monitor the position of the truck body.

Advantages and disadvantages of combines
Automatic cleaning fan speed control system Opti-FanTM
Holland combines, which are advanced modern special equipment, have many advantages over other brands of agricultural machines - high productivity, efficiency, environmental friendliness, the ability to work with full automation of all processes or quickly switch to manual control, etc.
Disadvantages include high cost and the absence of service points for Holland equipment in many CIS regions. Despite this, such machines are purchased by many farms because they significantly increase the efficiency of harvesting.

The history of conquering the automotive market
From the first day of its founding, the company gained enormous popularity in Europe and America, releasing in 1952 the first self-propelled grain harvester in history. At that time, the invention was considered the height of technological progress and made life much easier for many farmers. For this reason, the combine began to be rapidly dismantled, motivating manufacturers to expand production and create new models.
Today, New Holland is part of the CNH corporation
Thanks to investments and high sales, the New Holland company already in the early 60s became the largest manufacturer of grain harvesting machines in Europe, gaining a complete monopoly over the market. But American engineers did not think to stop there either, presenting in 1975 a unique technology called “Twin Rotor”, which is used to equip combine harvesters to this day, of course, in a modernized form.
New Holland combines are characterized by high productivity, have modern equipment and great capabilities for quick harvesting. In the early nineties, the company continued to improve its product, starting to develop a whole range of high-tech units that would meet the needs of all farmers. In 1999, the company joined the well-known British corporation CNH, deciding to continue to conquer the European market and supply new models of combines.
Today the company has about 20 factories around the world and representative offices in almost every country. The first main office was opened in Pennsylvania, but is now located in Turin, Italy. New Holland's latest technical developments include machines that can replenish their own energy using renewable sources. The corporation gained additional popularity among buyers due to its support of the Juventus football club and sponsorship of many sporting events.
