The engine of the LiuGong CLG 835 loader is a Deutz TD 226B-6 inline six-cylinder four-stroke diesel engine with a capacity of 6.2 liters. It is characterized by high power indicators - 92 kW or 125 horsepower, reduced noise and efficiency. Liugong 835 fuel consumption is 8.6 liters per hour of operation , rotation speed is 2200 rpm, and torque is 524 Nm. The engine is equipped with liquid cooling and direct fuel injection systems. Before the fuel is mixed with the other components of the combustible mixture, it undergoes additional cleaning with a Separ - 2000 filter. It consists of three stages, and thanks to it the engine can last longer without the need for repairs. This is a specific filter that has a moisture sump and a heating system.

The engine is also equipped with a mechanical injection pump, which allows the use of fuel of any quality. The cylinder diameter is 105 mm.

The engine comes complete with oil and air filters, a muffler, a charger, fuel units, an electric starter and a radiator to lower the temperature. All these parts are also supplied by Deutz.
