The main power plant on the loaders of this model is the Weichai WD10G220E21 diesel engine – a joint development of the Chinese company Weichai and the Austrian Steyr. This is a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine with turbocharging and liquid cooling.
The power of this diesel engine is 162 kW or 215 hp, at a rotation speed of 2200 rpm. Maximum torque – 850 N.m / 1400-1600 rpm. The working volume of the cylinders is 9.7 liters (9700 cm3).
