The XCMG ZL50G front-end loader can be equipped with several types of buckets of varying capacities, as well as other types of attachments (forks and jaws, boom equipment for moving containers, blades designed for working with garbage or for snow removal). The main power plant on the loaders of this model is the Weichai WD10G220E21 diesel engine – a joint development of the Chinese company Weichai and the Austrian Steyr. This is a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine with turbocharging and liquid cooling.
The power of this diesel engine is 162 kW or 215 hp, at a rotation speed of 2200 rpm. Maximum torque – 850 N.m / 1400-1600 rpm. The working volume of the cylinders is 9.7 liters (9700 cm3).
