The MTZ-320 model tractor is produced at the Minsk plant and belongs to the category of wheeled vehicles with a traction force of 0.6 tons. The design of the machine uses a transmission with front and rear wheel drive, which allows the tractor to be used for a wide range of construction, utility and agricultural work .
Advantages and disadvantages
Owners of tractors of the 320 family note the following positive aspects of the machine:

- well-chosen gear ratios of the box allow for high traction forces;

Main modifications
Based on the basic model 320.4, several modifications are made, the advantages and features of which are as follows:
- 320.5, is equipped with a diesel engine with improved environmental parameters (complies with Stage III standards), as well as 2 fuel tanks (46 and 48 l);
- 320.Р, equipped with a frame open cabin, with a canvas top;
- 320.4M, is distinguished by the installation of a Belarusian diesel engine MMZ-3LD.
On the secondary market there are modifications 320 and 320.3, which are no longer in production. According to their data, the machines are similar to version 320.4.
Engine
The manufacturer equipped the tractor with a three-cylinder diesel engine brand LDW 1603 NR (LDW1603/B3). This engine was developed by the Italian corporation Lombardini. There is a gas turbine turbocharging system, which allows, with a relatively small volume (1510 cubic milliliters), to develop a rated output power of 24.64 kilowatts or 33.5 horsepower. The cylinder diameter and piston stroke have the same value - 85 millimeters. The maximum torque is 87 newtons per meter. Specific fuel consumption at rated power is 316 grams of fuel per kilowatt.
Analogs
A close analogue is the T-25/30 Vladimirets tractor, which belongs to the 0.6 t traction class, which is produced in Russia. Compared to it, the Belarusian machine has greater functionality and a comfortable operator’s workplace. The Vladimirets type tractor is equipped with an air-cooled diesel engine, which is prone to overheating during prolonged operation in hot weather.
Chinese Xingtai brand tractors have similar overall dimensions and weight, but are inferior to the 320 family of machines in terms of reliability and functionality. In addition, we can mention similar Chinese machines Foton-404 and Dong Feng DF-404, which have a low price and a comparable set of functions. The quality of the machines is not inferior to the products of the MTZ plant.
Purpose
The scope of application of the MTZ-320 tractor is quite wide, namely, it is a frequent worker in agriculture, livestock farming, vegetable growing, farms and even in public utilities.
The machine is capable of effortlessly performing work such as preparing feed, planting potatoes, pre-sowing and main tillage, sowing grain vegetation, as well as plowing the field. By the way, the row spacing can take three values: 450 millimeters, 600 millimeters, and 700 millimeters. This directly depends on the selected attachment. To perform transportation work, the tractor has a special mount that allows the use of trailers and trailed equipment.
Utilities use the machine to clean various sites, road surfaces, streets and parking lots from pollution. Also, using a front blade allows the tractor to clear snow and level the necessary surfaces. This applies not only to the area of public utilities, but also to all other areas.
It is also often used on farms, since due to its small overall dimensions, the tractor is able to work in cramped conditions. Most often in this area the machine works in tandem with trailers and loading equipment.
