ZIL-433362: technical characteristics, model description

The updated series of classic medium trucks, designed and produced since 2003 by the oldest automobile plant in Russia, the famous AMO ZIL, includes the multifunctional chassis ZIL-433362.

The model is used as a universal basis for mounting a wide range of body add-ons: from standard cargo platforms (with and without sides) to various combinations of specialized equipment.

Initially designed for roads of any type, over the course of ten years the vehicle has become a classic example of excellent cross-country ability, simplicity and ease of operation, and high reliability during operation.

About weight and size characteristics

The chassis uses a 4x2 wheel arrangement. The distance between the axles (base) is 3.8 m with a total length (from the front bumper to the towbar) of 6.62 m.

  • on the front wheels - 3 tons;
  • on the rear – 8.2 t.

Considering the ability to tow up to 8 tons, the total weight of the road train reaches 19.2 tons.

The ability to use the most common types of trailers of the specified (medium) category is ensured by:

  • universal design of the coupling device;
  • connecting the trailer brakes to the general automatic coupling system;
  • power supply system with standard connectors.

Cabin and controls design

The ZIL-433362 cabin is located behind the engine. It has two doors and three seats, including the driver's. The one-piece panoramic windshield guarantees a good view of the road.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The range of special vehicles for the development of liquid fuel consumption standards includes all machines on automobile, special and tractor chassis that have special equipment designed to perform work in urban areas.

For special vehicles in related industries, which are additionally involved in performing repair and emergency work in urban utilities (for example, truck cranes, bulldozers, excavators, motor graders, etc.), liquid fuel consumption is established according to the standards in force in these industries, taking into account the specific conditions of urban services in which they are used.

The developed temporary industry standards for liquid fuel consumption should be considered as standard ones, on the basis of which fuel consumption standards are established in relation to specific operating conditions of machines.

Power units

A ZIL 508.1 model gasoline engine with a two-chamber carburetor is installed in the engine compartment in front of the cabin. Eight cylinders are arranged in a V-shape, a compression ratio of 7.1 and a total volume of 6 liters.

Developed power (at 3,200 rpm) is 150 hp. With. allows a fully loaded vehicle to confidently move at a speed of 90 km/h. The engine produces a maximum torque of 402 Nm in the crankshaft speed range from 1,800 to 2,000 per minute.

Important! Depending on the load, the average gasoline consumption for every hundred kilometers traveled ranges from 26 to 33 liters.

The transmission of torque to a manual five-speed (5 forward and one reverse) gearbox with manual control is made using a dry friction clutch basket.

It is a single-disk design controlled by a pneumohydraulic type amplifier.

The chassis cardan system consists of two shafts with an intermediate support mount, united by three articulated crosspieces and a sliding spline connection.

The transmission on the axle shaft is through a single-stage drive hypoid axle and a bevel differential with four satellites.

Device

The design of this car includes such mechanisms and parts as:

  1. Electrical equipment responsible for light and sound signaling, low and high beam, etc.
  2. The transmission, which is the chassis of the vehicle.
  3. Steering mechanism and air suspension ZIL.
  4. A power unit equipped with a carburetor, a pump element and a liquid cooling system.
  5. Independent braking mechanism. The system consists of auxiliary, parking and service brakes.
  6. Clutch mechanism, wheels and tires of transport.
  7. A pneumatic system that includes a compressor, fitting, clamp and hoses.
  8. Driver's cabin and cargo platform.

Electrical equipment

ZIL-433362 is an updated family of classic trucks belonging to the middle class. This model was designed in 2003. Its production began during the same period. Assembly of ZIL-433362 was carried out at AMO ZIL. In the basic version, the equipment was a multifunctional chassis, which provided for the installation of equipment and additional add-ons.

Chassis elements

The supporting base of the entire structure is made in the form of a frame assembled from two all-stamped steel spars, each of which has a channel section.

These longitudinal parts are connected by cross members made of the same steel in five places.

Smooth running is guaranteed by dependent axle suspension. Semi-elliptical springs are used at the front and rear. Their front pair is equipped with hydraulic double-sided telescopic shock absorbers.

Electrical equipment, fuel resources and additional equipment

433362 electrical circuit are connected according to a single-wire circuit and are powered by a constant voltage of 12 V. All wires of current consumers have a positive (“positive”) potential.

The car body plays the role of negative (“minus”). To start the engine, 6-ST-78 (6-ST-81) batteries with a capacity of 78 (81) Ah are installed.

When the motor is running, energy is supplied to the electrical circuits from the G130 current generator, which produces power up to 350 W and a direct current of 28 A. The same voltage level at different speeds is maintained by an electromechanical relay or an electronic control circuit.

The standard gas tank holds up to 170 liters of AI-92 gasoline, providing autonomy from 400 to 700 kilometers.

The equipment can be equipped with additional options:

  • pre-heater , making it easier to start the engine in the cold;
  • sleeping area for areas with low temperatures;
