We offer a short review of Amkodor tractors from the Belarusian manufacturer. The Amkodor plant was founded in early 1927 of the last century. Over the more than 90-year history of its existence, designers have developed and created various road and transport heavy equipment intended for loading, unloading and earth-moving operations.

Significant new products of Amkodor at Belagro 2017: super tractor, mini loader, crawler excavator
The Amkodor holding presented three absolute new products at the Belagro 2017 exhibition taking place near Minsk: the first tractor in the company’s history, designed to compete with leading Western manufacturers; mini loader with a lifting capacity of 900 kg; crawler excavator "Amkodor-SINOMACH" with an operating weight of 25,000 kg.
The Amkodor 5300 tractor became a real sensation at the Belagro 2017 exhibition. Firstly, because this is generally the first tractor in the history of the Amkodor holding. Secondly, because the start of its development became known only a little more than six months ago, and then immediately the premiere showing of the working model! Thirdly, the Amkodor 5300 impressed with its appearance and characteristics: a power-armed wheeled tractor of traction class 5 with an articulated frame and an engine with a capacity of 330 horsepower - nothing like this has ever been produced in Belarus!
Especially for the Amkodor 5300 tractor, the Minsk Motor Plant has developed a new highly accelerated diesel engine D-262S2-158 with turbocharging and intercooling of charge air. Maximum power 330 hp. it develops at a crankshaft speed of 2100 rpm. When creating the new engine, the most modern technical solutions were used to achieve high reliability and consumer properties, as well as ensure minimal fuel consumption. The new “engine” is equipped with a Common Rail fuel supply system with electronic control from Bosch, which allows monitoring, diagnostics, and control of the power plant with maximum comfort for the operator.
The operating weight of the Amkodor 5300 tractor is 16,000 kg, while it develops a traction force of up to 50 kN and can tow trailers with a total weight of 40,000 kg.
"Amkodor 5300" is intended for performing energy-intensive general-purpose agricultural work, basic and pre-sowing tillage, sowing grain and other crops as part of wide-cut and combined units, harvesting work as part of high-performance harvesting complexes for harvesting feed, harvesting grain and industrial crops, and performing transport and loading operations.
At the exhibition, Amkodor 5300 was presented in conjunction with a wide-cut cultivator for pre-sowing soil cultivation KShP-10, which has a working width of 10 m and is capable of cultivating soil at a depth of up to 14 cm.
The articulated design of the frame made it possible to ensure optimal weight distribution along the axes. The front and rear of the tractor uses GALERO Agro (Belshina) tires of the same size - 710/70R42 (in fact, this is the Bel-175 model: a tubeless, radial, wide-profile tire with an R-1 all-terrain tread pattern).
Other features of the Amkodor 5300 tractor include: hydromechanical transmission with electrical control, which provides the ability to change gears under load without interrupting the power flow (Powershift type); high speed for transport work; spacious fuel tank (provides at least 10 hours of operation without refueling); flexibility of aggregation (provided by a high-performance hydraulic system of working equipment and a three-point hitch of category IV in the basic configuration with an independent PTO with replaceable shanks).
The original cabin with a large glass area promises the most comfortable conditions for the operator and meets all safety requirements.
Another important feature of the new product is that 90% of the components from which the Amkodor 5300 is assembled are manufactured at Belarusian factories! This means that the tractor will have a very competitive price!
Who will Amkodor 5300 compete with? According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amkodor OJSC Alexander Shakutin, the new Belarusian tractor should compete with similar class models from Western manufacturers such as John Deere, Challenger or New Holland. The articulated Amkodor 5300 is not going to compete with the energy-rich machines of the Minsk Tractor Plant - it has a different concept and its own niche in the market.
As for the prospect of mass production, it could start... already at the beginning of 2022! Amkodor 5300 successfully passed laboratory and field tests - the machine confirmed the correctness of the technical solutions incorporated into its design and demonstrated reliability.
The universal loader "Amkodor 308" is the smallest loader with an articulated frame in the line of the Belarusian manufacturer. And the lightest - its operating weight is only 2900 kg. This is a completely new development - Amkodor has not yet produced cars of this class.
The load capacity of the Amkodor 308 with a main bucket with a capacity of 0.38 m3 is 900 kg. Unloading height - 1700 mm. Unloading angle - 45 degrees. In this case, the overhang of the bucket edge is 400 mm.
The new mini-loader will be equipped with two diesel engine options to choose from: the domestic MMZ 4DT.2 or the Japanese Yanmar 4TNV84T. Both engines are four-cylinder, both have a power of 48 hp. Transmission - hydrostatic. Maximum speed is 25 km/h.
The Amkodor-SINOMACH 3255 crawler excavator is a promising product of a joint Belarusian-Chinese venture, which is planned to be created this summer on the basis of Amkodor-KEZ OJSC (until 2013 - Kokhanovsky Excavator Plant).
The advantages of the Amkodor-SINOMACH 3255 excavator are high productivity, improved digging kinematics and maneuverability, reinforced frame design, the use of high-quality components, and a modern, comfortable operator’s cabin.
The Amkodor-SINOMACH 3255 excavator presented at the exhibition was assembled in Kokhanovo (an urban settlement in the Vitebsk region) in February from a Chinese kit. This model has an operating weight of 25,000 kg and a load capacity of 3,300 kg. The capacity of the main bucket is 1.2 m3. The duration of the working cycle is 20 s. Technical productivity - 216 m3/h. The excavator is equipped with a 178-horsepower Cummins 6BTAA5.9-C178 engine with turbocharging and intercooling of charge air.
It is planned that, first of all, the Amkodor-SINOMASH joint venture will produce SINOMACH crawler excavators with a bucket volume of 1.0 and 1.2 m3, which are one of the most popular special machines in the world. The demand for models of this class is constantly growing, so the joint venture expects to sell its products not only in Belarus and Russia, but also in the markets of near and far abroad countries. At the same time, a full-cycle production of excavators will be created in Kokhanovo.

Maintenance
Amkodor tractors are reliable and time-tested equipment. Timely inspection and maintenance will protect the machine from breakdowns for a long time. But if a breakdown does occur, repairing the car will not take much time, since all consumables and spare parts are available and are available in a wide range.
The main stages of maintenance include the following processes:
- Changing engine oil - every 250 operating hours, the manufacturer recommends using Lukoil oils, which have shown themselves to work well both when testing equipment and during its further operation.
- The transmission oil is changed every 1000 operating hours, and it is recommended to use TNK Trans brand oils.
- Do not forget to monitor the quality of diesel fuel and oils - only high-quality working fluids will ensure the smooth operation of systems and mechanisms, and also protect the tractor from breakdowns.
