Device

The DEK 251 crane is equipped with a boom 32.5 m long. In addition, it is equipped with grid inserts with a length of 5.0 and 8.6 m. The inserts are attached to the main boom with pin fasteners - this is very convenient for complex assembly. There is a fixed jib on the boom, due to which the length of the boom increases.

This tracked mechanism is so technologically advanced that it can rotate 360° - this is an undeniable plus in terms of maneuverability and comfort of work in tight conditions. The crane can be powered by either the main or an additional diesel engine with a power of 60 kW. This engine plays the role of a generator and a source of additional energy. This crane does not require a special hard platform. The presented model is equipped with an excellent chassis, on which the special equipment can handle any obstacles. The crawler crane is stable on different terrain and impassable off-road conditions. It is capable of simultaneously moving through difficult terrain and carrying heavy loads.

The driver's cabin is multifunctional with a noise-insulating and heat-insulating layer that reduces vibration. The interior of the truck crane is equipped with a heater and air conditioner, this allows you to set the desired temperature in any weather outside. The cabin contains levers and switches, information displays that allow you to control moving mechanisms.

The truck crane is equipped with a special security system that controls the operation of the systems. It serves to prevent the following cases:

• The crane is capable of traveling under its own power at low speed (1 km/h). It is possible to transport the DEK 251 truck crane using a trailer. According to Russian Railways, the movement of this special equipment is carried out through the use of two cargo platforms. The vehicle is reloaded;
• drop in oil pressure;
• critical temperature increase;
• warns approaching power lines;
• coordinates movement in confined spaces.

Boom device

The main boom equipment is a non-retractable lattice boom. The crane is equipped with a 14 m boom, which, depending on operating conditions, can be extended to 19; 22.75; 24; 27.75 and 32.75 m due to inserts. Each boom can be equipped with a fixed jib 5 m long, from which an auxiliary lifting hook is suspended. The lifting capacity on booms with a jib is 0.5 - 1 ton less than without a jib. The crane is equipped with tower-jib equipment - a tower 22.5 or 27.5 m long and shunting jib 10 long; 15 or 20 m.

Technical characteristics of the DEK-251 crane when working with replaceable boom equipment

The main load-handling elements are crane suspensions with a lifting capacity of 25 and 5 tons. A grab with a capacity of 2.5 m3 can be used as a replaceable load-handling element on a 14 m boom. The DEK-251 cargo crane has a load lifting winch - this is a mechanism whose traction force is transmitted using a rope from the drive drum. The main purpose of the cargo winch is to solve the main task of the crane: lifting the load using the crane boom.

The DEK-251 crawler jib crane is equipped with two cargo winches:

- main lift winch

- auxiliary lift winch

The DEK-251 crane uses a drum winch 251.11.00.000-01 with an electric drive. The load lifting winch consists of more than twenty parts (assemblies and individual parts), weighing in total about 2.7 tons.

Features of the device and operation

1. The DEK-251 truck crane is equipped with a main boom 32.7 m long. In addition to it there are lattice inserts 5 and 8.7 m long. They are fixed to the boom using threadless pin fasteners. This feature has a beneficial effect on ease of assembly.
2. The crane is equipped with a 5 m long fixed jib, which increases the length of the main boom. The kit also includes an auxiliary hook with a lifting capacity of 5 tons
3. Ability to move with a load weighing up to 25 at a speed of 1 km/h. In this case, the load can be securely secured on the main boom or using a rigid jib up to 2.5 tons
4. To install a crawler crane, no special concrete platform is required, which classic cranes cannot do without. The model is endowed with an excellent chassis, with which any obstacles are not afraid. The crane is as stable as possible on any off-road terrain, and regardless of climatic factors. Thus, DEK-251 is capable of moving off-road, and at the same time moving heavy objects
5. The crawler track and drive of the crane are so technologically advanced that they can be used to turn 360 degrees in one place. This is an undeniable advantage in favor of maneuverability and ease of work in cramped conditions.
6. Multifunctional cabin with an internal heat-insulating layer that reduces noise and vibration. In addition, the cabin is equipped with an independent heater and air conditioner, with which you can set the optimal temperature in the cabin to feel comfortable and cozy, regardless of the temperature outside. The cockpit itself is the main workspace where all levers, buttons and switches, as well as information displays, are concentrated. Using them, you can manage and monitor the condition and position of moving parts, and, if necessary, eliminate automatically detected problems in advance
7. The crane installation is capable of operating from an additional 60 kW diesel engine, which acts as a generator and can be used as an additional energy source. In addition, as an alternative, it is possible to operate from a mains voltage of 380 V and 50 Hz. Thanks to this, it was possible to improve fuel efficiency
8. High adaptation to the Arctic and equatorial zones, which makes the crane universal and very durable

11. A security system that controls the operation of all crane systems. It protects the self-propelled machine and the operator from overload, loss of oil pressure or temperature increase, and also prevents proximity to high-voltage power lines. 12. Possibility of transportation on roads using a trailer, as well as by rail using two cargo platforms. If necessary, the crane is capable of moving on roads under its own power at a speed of 1 km/h.
