The EO 2621-B3 excavator
is equipped with a backhoe bucket and a blade. The excavator can operate in temperate climates at temperatures from -40oC to +40oC.

Excavator device

The single-bucket excavator EO-2621 is mounted on the base chassis of the Belarus tractor YUMZ-6AL/6AM. It is equipped with a DT-65N diesel engine with a capacity of 65 hp. With. The tractor frame is reinforced with a strapping frame, which is the basis for mounting sets of removable equipment.

Engine

The EO-2621 excavator-bulldozer is equipped with a four-cylinder power unit of the D-243 brand, the maximum power of which is 80 horsepower or 60 kilowatts. The maximum torque that this unit can develop is 280 Nm. This engine runs on diesel fuel. The torque reserve factor is 15 percent. All cylinders of this unit have a diameter of 110 millimeters. The piston stroke is 125 millimeters. The crankshaft can develop a maximum rotation speed of 2200 rpm. The mass of the assembled engine is 430 kilograms.

But the excavator model, based on the YuMZ-6AL and YuMZ-6AM tractors, has a slightly weaker engine. Its rated power is 60 horsepower or 44 kilowatts.

Hydraulic system characteristics

To control the bulldozer and excavator, two autonomous hydraulic systems are provided, using a common tank for working fluid. The pressure level is regulated by safety valves. The EO-2621 hydraulic system includes hydraulic cylinders (for outriggers, bulldozer, turning mechanism, handle, bucket and boom), pumps, valves of various types, and distributors.

The semi-rotary hydraulic excavator EO-2621A is intended for performing small-volume loading and excavation work in soils of categories I, II, III with a digging depth (backhoe) of 3.0 m and an unloading height of 2.2 m. It is a development of the E-2515 excavator model . The excavator is equipped with two working bodies: the main excavation and an additional one - a bulldozer. The main working part of excavator equipment is a unified bucket with a volume of 0.25 m3, which can operate as a forward or backhoe. To switch the excavator from working with a forward shovel to a reverse shovel, it is enough to rotate the bucket 180°. The excavator can be equipped with: a loading bucket with a volume of up to 0.5 m3, a grab, a backhoe with an offset digging axis, a crane suspension, a fork for lifting piece goods, etc. The bulldozer is a permanent piece of equipment and serves both for backfilling trenches and small leveling work, and as a counterweight.
Excavator equipment is hung on the main (strap) frame and the bulldozer frame. The middle part of the frame is attached to the sleeves of the tractor axle shafts, and the front part is attached to the longitudinal beams of the engine. A rotating column with a chain turning mechanism and support shoes are mounted on the frame at the back. Working equipment consisting of a boom, a handle and a bucket is installed on the rotary column. The connection of the elements is hinged, the equipment is controlled by hydraulic cylinders. The bulldozer blade is connected to frames, which are pushed by bars and a hydraulic cylinder. Excavator equipment is mounted at the rear of the tractor on a frame. It consists of a rotary column, boom, arm and bucket, controlled by hydraulic cylinders. The column body is welded and can rotate on bearings relative to the cast steel glass. In the upper part, the column body has an eye to which the boom hydraulic cylinder is pivotally attached. A finger is installed on the heel of the boom in the tide to fix the rotation of the column in the transport position. A sprocket is secured to the splines of the lower part of the body with a nut, onto which a bushing-roller chain is mounted. It is connected through rods to the hydraulic cylinder rods for controlling the rotation of the column. Both hydraulic cylinders work alternately: if the rod of one cylinder retracts, the other, idling, goes out. For stability of the excavator, outriggers are provided. The support shoes are hinged to the eyes of the main frame. In the working position, they can fall slightly below the excavator parking level (by 0.25 - 0.35 m). The shoes are controlled by two hydraulic cylinders. The working fluid from the tank is supplied to the hydraulic cylinders by a pumping unit through pipelines through a hydraulic distributor. The EO-2621A excavator uses two independent hydraulic systems with a common tank for working fluid. The first drives the working equipment from three gear pumps of the NSh-32E type; the liquid is supplied through a distributor to the hydraulic cylinders of the bucket, arm and boom. The second system supplies fluid from the pump through a distributor to the hydraulic cylinder of the boom, to the hydraulic cylinders of the turning mechanism, and through the tractor distributor to the hydraulic cylinders of the outriggers and the hydraulic cylinder of the bulldozer. The boom and arm are of welded construction, variable box section. The fifth boom is pivotally connected to the base of the rotary column. When converting to a straight shovel, the bucket is installed with its teeth outward and secured to the lower fork of the handle with additional rods. The hydraulic cylinder rods of the handle are attached to its lower bracket using a finger. The bottom of the bucket is hingedly connected to its body by an axle, and it rotates freely by means of a hydraulic cylinder. The driver's cabin and driver's seat are designed so that the driver has the ability to alternately control either excavator or bulldozer equipment. For the operator’s convenience, the fuel tank is located in the front part of the tractor.

Wheel track: front 1460 mm, rear 1560 mm. Excavator base 2450 mm. The rotation angle of the working equipment is 160°. The capacity of the shovel and backhoe bucket is 0.25 m3. The largest digging radius is 5000 mm; maximum digging depth 3000 mm; maximum unloading height 2200 mm. Duty cycle at maximum depth 18 s. Capacity 40 m/h. The EO-2621A excavator is mounted on a YuMZ-6L/6M pneumatic wheel tractor, and later on a modernized YuMZ-6AL/AM tractor. A further development of the model is the EO-2621V excavator. Produced since the early 70s. at the Kiev, Galich, Zlatoust and Saransk excavator plants.

Price new and used
