The VM Technics company offers its customers to order and buy the best gantry cranes for 16 and 20 tons in St. Petersburg, Moscow and other cities of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Our craftsmen understand perfectly how important the safety of not only workers on a construction site, but also passers-by is. All products undergo mandatory testing before going on sale.
The gantry crane got its name due to its special design and it doesn’t matter whether the lifting capacity is 16 - 20 tons (KK 16/20) or 200, the crane is manufactured according to the same principle. We hasten to assure you that a gantry crane of 16 and 20 tons only seems like too delicate a design. The main bridge is mounted on strong supports, which in turn can move along rails on concrete sleepers.
Indeed, despite the fact that 16 and 20 tons (KK16/20) are quite heavy, the gantry crane copes with this task without much effort. You will not regret this purchase for a single minute. The main thing to begin with is to determine exactly for what purpose you need this lifting equipment.

1) Description of taps
Gantry cranes K-122, K-152, K-202, K-302 (K-305), K-402 (K-405) K-502 (K-505) (Fig. 218) have a lifting capacity from 12 to 50 t, span length from 20 to 32 m and hook lifting height up to 10.5 m. The design diagrams of the listed cranes are the same. Each crane consists of a lattice crossbar supported by legs: one leg is rigid, the other is flexible. The crane crossbar consists of two trusses connected to each other by connections along the upper and lower chords. On the upper belt of the trusses there are rail tracks along which the cargo trolley moves. The closest approach of the trolley to the supports is 2.1 m.
The control cabin is located on a rigid support of the crane; in some cranes it is mounted on a load trolley.
The crane supports are connected in pairs by longitudinal beams equipped with running wheels and a movement mechanism. Cranes with a lifting capacity of 12 to 20 tons have this design of running trolleys. In cranes with a lifting capacity of 30 to 50 tons, the support beams at the ends have two-wheeled balancing trolleys with a drive to one of them.
The gantry crane moves along rail tracks laid on ballast.
The railway track laid between the crane supports has a clearance of 2.75 m when approaching the support.
The metal structures of cranes with a lifting capacity from 12 to 50 g are made of identical components and differ only in the number of sections that are connected to each other using clean bolts.
Cranes K-122, K-202, K-302 (K-305) and K-502 (K-505) differ in the span size, which changes by including additional crossbar sections.
Kinematic diagrams of winches for moving cargo trolleys and moving mechanisms for gantry cranes are shown in Fig. 219-222.

Kinematic diagrams of the movement mechanism and installation winch of the crane are shown in Fig. 224.
The crane has three working movements: lifting and lowering the load; movement of a cargo trolley; movement of the crane.
The crane crossbar is made of an I-beam, along the lower flange of which the hoist moves. Each leg of the crane consists of two tubular inclined struts, hinged at the top with a crossbar, and at the bottom with bolts to running (one-wheeled) trolleys, two of which are equipped with mechanisms for moving the crane. The legs are connected in pairs by tubular rods. Drums are installed on the gearbox shaft of the drive trolleys, and blocks are installed on the driven trolleys. Both of these elements are used when installing the crane to refill the assembly pulley.
The crane moves along rail tracks laid on sand ballast. All crane mechanisms are equipped with electric motors with squirrel-cage rotors, which are controlled using magnetic starters. The control cabin is mounted on one leg of the crane. It is possible to combine any three working movements on the crane.
The crane can be transported by rail on one 20-ton platform, on two ZIL-150 or ZIL-164 vehicles (on a good road) or on three GAZ-51 vehicles.
Gantry crane TsUMZ-MPS-5k (Fig. 225) with a lifting capacity of 5 tons with a span of 11.3 l and a hook lifting height of up to 7.4 m - double-cantilever; intended for loading and unloading operations in warehouses of building materials and structures.
The crossbar is pivotally connected to four legs, which in turn are connected to single-wheeled running trolleys (two of them are driven). The legs at the bottom are connected by a tubular rod.
Lifting and moving of loads is carried out using a TV-511 hoist, which moves along a monorail mounted on the lower belt of the crossbar.
Drums are installed on the gearbox shaft of the drive trolleys, and blocks are installed on the driven trolleys. Both of these devices are used when installing a crane to refill the assembly pulley.
Control of all engines is concentrated in a cabin located on a support leg at a height of 7 m above the level of the rails.
When assembling the crane, the crossbar is laid on two sleeper cages 2 m high, the hoist is suspended and the support legs are connected to the running trolleys. The crane is lifted into the working position using two pulley blocks and a mechanism for moving the crane by moving its running wheels along the rails together with the supports (when the mounting pulley is shortened). The installation of the crossbar on cages or trestles and the connection of the legs to the crossbar are carried out using a truck crane.
It is possible to combine any three working movements on the crane.
Gantry crane KKU-7.5 (Fig. 226) is a two-cantilever crane, with a lifting capacity when working with a hook up to 7.5 g and when working with a grab up to 5 tons. The lifting height of the hook is up to 10 m, the span is 20 and 32 g.
The crane is intended for servicing landfills, railside and transverse timber warehouses, as well as general purpose warehouses.
The crane has a rectangular lattice crossbar bridge to which a monorail is attached. A cargo trolley moves along the monorail, made with a rocker for hanging two hooks, which ensure the lifting and transportation (using a traverse) of long loads, and without a rocker - for hanging one hook.
Winches for lifting cargo and moving the cargo trolley are mounted on a crossbar above a rigid support. The control cabin moves along the crossbar together with the trolley or is fixed on a support.
The crane is equipped with replaceable crossbar sections, which allows you to change its span from 20 to 32 g.
The length of the console at the rigid support with a fixed cabin is 9 l, at the flexible support - 9 l, which ensures servicing of a platform with a width of 37 - 49 l. With a movable cabin, the length of the console at the flexible support is reduced to 6.1 l.
On the crane it is possible to combine any three movements. When installing the crane, a 3-ton truck crane is used.
Gantry crane KMK-2X5-23 (Fig. 227) with a lifting capacity of 2X5 tons, double-cantilever, equipped with two TV-505 hoists; crane span - 25 w; console length - 8 w; the highest hook lifting height is 23 g.

The crane is intended for the installation of prefabricated residential buildings up to five floors high from elements weighing up to 5-10 tons, for servicing sites for the production of reinforced concrete products and warehouses for various purposes.
For installation work, cranes with a hook lifting height of 23 m are used (KMK-2X5-23); when used at landfills and warehouses, the lifting height of the hook is reduced to 11 m by reducing the height of the leg stands (KMK-2X5-11 crane, Fig. 228).
The crane crossbar has a triangular cross-section and is connected to the hinge posts. Each stand is pivotally connected to a two-wheeled bogie trolley, which ensures the movement of the crane along curved sections, the rail track and the rotation of the crane when changing the direction of movement. When the crane is turned, the pillars of one pair are brought closer together, for which the axis connecting the pillar to the bridge (crossbar) is removed. In cranes for landfills and warehouses, two pillars are rigidly attached to the bridge, and two are hinged, which allows movement only in a straight line.
The crane movement mechanisms are installed on two trolleys located diagonally.
Cranes equipped with hoists have two control cabins that move along a monorail along with the hoists. In a trolley crane, the cabin is fixed to the top of a rigid leg.
Installation of KMK-2X5-23 cranes is carried out by tightening the legs with two mounting winches and pulleys (see Fig. 237).
