This type of loader is the brainchild of the PPS Detva plant, known to domestic consumers for half a century. Two of the most successful models were the UN-050 and UN-053, of which a total of more than 30 thousand were produced. Both were equipped with a ZETOR engine, characterized by increased reliability, as well as a Sauer hydraulic system. All this, coupled with a large boom turning radius (180 degrees), made these loaders the face of the Detva brand. But the UN-050 model had one drawback: the rotating frame made a cracking noise (as it was rigidly attached to the cabin).
