Model with German engine

PUM-500 (technical characteristics, reviews are given in this article) has been produced since 2005 with a HATZ 2M41 engine. This power plant has the following advantages:

Universal mini loaders PUM consist of a number of units with mechanical and hydraulic principles of operation:

• chassis;

For movement, hydraulic motors are used, installed symmetrically on the sides of the machine. The kinematic drive diagram contains final drives that distribute torque between the wheels of each side.

The vehicle turns due to the difference in the angular speeds of the wheels on the left and right sides.

A disc parking brake is located on the gear housing, which is activated by the operator. The device can be used to emergency stop the machine if the hydraulics fail.

The chassis includes wheels equipped with paired stamped disks. Sponge or pneumatic tires can be used. To work on soils clogged with sharp objects, massive tires are used. The wheels are fixed with specially shaped nuts on hubs located on the output shafts of the final drives.

The machine's cabin is mounted on a chassis on supports and a torsion bar. Attachment points allow the unit to tilt forward. The fuel supply is located in a tank mounted on the right frame strut. Lines equipped with filters are laid from the tank to the engine. The amount of liquid in the tank is determined using a dipstick located next to the filler neck. This loader is available in two versions, namely PUM-500 (basic) and PUM-500U (modified). The PUM-500U modification differs from the basic loader only in the power plant. A Hatz 2M41 two-cylinder diesel unit is installed. The maximum output power is 23.7 kilowatts or 31.27 horsepower. In one minute, the crankshaft makes 2000 revolutions in nominal mode. Proper operation of this engine is observed even when operating in rather difficult weather conditions. Externally, the PUM-500U modification is completely similar to the basic loader.

How popular is the PUM-500? Feedback from owners is clear in their answer to this question - consumers really like the car, which is also evidenced by its high sales levels. In particular, you can often hear from loader owners that it has, in their opinion, a very good engine that consumes little fuel. In addition, the vehicle starts without problems on cold winter days. The unit is unpretentious in terms of diesel fuel quality. And most importantly, PUM-500 is almost two times cheaper than its competitors with the same price for spare parts.
