4. Safety requirements
Due to the presence of electrical equipment and rotating working tools in the product ( grain crusher IZ-14 “Farmer” ), it is necessary to comply with the safety requirements of this Operation Manual, otherwise failure to comply may lead to product failure or accidents.
4.1 The product belongs to household electrical appliances operating under supervision
.
4.2 The product is connected to the electrical network through a two-pole socket; the IZE-05 product is connected through a two-pole socket with grounding (Euro socket). Electrical installation work to connect the product to internal networks must be carried out with the help of a qualified electrician.
4.3 To protect your hearing from noise when operating the product, you should use protective equipment, for example, earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones.
4.4 Immediately stop loading the crushed raw materials and disconnect the product from the network in case of overload (sharp decrease in electric motor speed), jamming of the cutting tool, sparks appearing from the engine compartment or a burning smell or smoke.
4.5 Do not leave the product in damp areas, protect it from impacts and sudden loads.
4.6 Disconnect the product plug from the outlet:
- during a break from work;
- when moving a product from one workplace to another;
- before cleaning and after finishing work;
- during product disassembly and assembly, maintenance and repair.
4.7 It is prohibited:
- during work, push raw materials into the working chamber with your hand and foreign objects (sticks, rods, etc.);
- operate a faulty product;
- operate the product (IZE-05) without reliable grounding;
- simultaneously touch the body of the product connected to the electrical network and devices that are naturally grounded;
- turn on the product if the switch or power cord is damaged (they should be replaced with serviceable ones received from the manufacturer or its representative);
- turn on the product with the damper open;
- carry out maintenance, repair, disassembly and cleaning of the product connected to the electrical network;
- To avoid accidents and for fire safety purposes, leave the product switched on unattended and allow children to access it.
4.8 Not recommended:
4.8.1 close the ventilation holes on the housing during operation of the product;
4.8.2 supply processed products until the electric motor reaches operating speed;
Do not allow the engine to idle for long periods of time (more than 10 seconds). This will significantly extend the service life of the product:
4.8.3 crush wet grain and grain mixed with snow, because this will lead to clogging of the loading hole and cells in the sieve with crushed products;
4.8.4 allow the complete emptying of the hopper during the crushing process. Failure to comply may result in crushed grain from the working chamber getting into the face and into the engine compartment.

5. Product design
5.1 The design of the product is shown in Fig. 1.
An electric motor 4 is fixed to the base 3, which is covered with a casing 2. A knife 5 is installed on the motor shaft. A reflector 14 is welded to the bottom side of the base, inside which a side sieve 13 is installed and pressed by the bottom of the working chamber 12.
Dry grain is poured into hopper 1. The grain supply is regulated by valve 8.
During operation of the product, the grain is crushed in the working chamber with a knife 5 and poured into the prepared container through holes in the side sieve.
Dear buyer!
The product uses a side sieve with Ø5 mm holes.
To obtain a finer fraction of the crushed mass, the company produces a sieve with Ø4 mm holes. To obtain a larger fraction (poultry feeding), a sieve with Ø6 mm holes is made. You can purchase the sieve you need directly from our company or from the spare parts catalogue .
5.2 Electrical circuit diagrams of products are shown in Fig. 3(a, b).
5.3 In order to ensure safe operation and protect the engine from overload, a fuse is installed on the product.
5.4 To protect the electric motor from overload when crushing heavy crops, it is necessary to close the valve 8.

Operating manual for household grain crusher IZE-14 “Farmer”
Where is it used?
With the help of the device, it becomes possible to independently obtain ground feed for livestock. It will be distinguished by its high qualities and ease of perception by animals.
Grinding occurs by chipping and cutting, so the equipment processes various types of dry food.
Most have already noticed that this grinding option is the most effective and high-quality. Especially if you compare a simple hammer crusher.
Grain crusher Farmer
Agricultural equipment of the “Farmer” brand is produced by Chelyabinsk, providing consumers with the Russian quality of an all-metal mechanism and reasonable prices available to small farmers and homestead owners.
Purpose
These devices are specially designed for home preparation and preparation of feed from dry grain obtained by threshing different types of crops:
- Cereals with variations in grain size (spikelets, corn, etc.);
- With varying degrees of product hardness;
- Seeds of oilseed plants.
This diversity became possible thanks to the use of a special method of crushing the product - the method of chipping and cutting, as well as the comparative height of the power capacity installed in the units.
Design features
“Farmer” grain crushing units are distinguished by their compact size and the operation of the electric motor from the voltage of a regular household network, which makes their use very convenient and allows you to quickly prepare fresh feed mixtures right before their immediate use. It is also important that the manufacturer offers devices of different sizes and capacities (productivity from 100 to 400 kg/h), with a corresponding change in cost, which makes it possible to choose a crusher for the needs of any farm.
Regardless of the power and size differences, Farmer grain crushers have common design features.
Diagram of Farmer grain crushers using the IZ-05 model as an example
The structure of Farmer grain crushers assumes the presence of the following components and parts:
- Structure base (3);
- Electric motor (4);
- Motor protection cover (2);
- Grain bin into which grain is poured (1);
- Working knives mounted directly on the electric motor shaft (5);
- Reflector at the bottom of the working chamber (14);
- Side sieve (13);
- Power cord (11).
When the device is operating, knives moving quickly and rotating around the motor shaft grind the grain, which is then poured through a side sieve into a prepared container, as if from a meat grinder.
IMPORTANT! Farmer crushers require a mandatory break after every hour of operation to cool the engine, lasting about 5 to 12 minutes.
Benefits of using a shredder
Small sizes ensure ease of use of the equipment. Work occurs by connecting to the electrical network. Various characteristics help you select equipment of a certain type.
The simplicity of the grain crusher allows even a child to understand this device. The design works on the principle of a kitchen coffee grinder. The reliability and durability of the equipment makes it most attractive to the consumer.
Many farmers have already appreciated this technique and were able to choose exactly the option that meets all the stated requirements.
Find out what are the features of using backpack garden battery sprayers, and how to choose the right unit. And here we invite you to compare what is more profitable: buying or renting a motor pump for heavily polluted water.
Safety rules for operating equipment
The very first thing that must be ensured for proper operation and consumer safety is grounding.
Before you start using it, you should make sure that all parts of the equipment are complete and not damaged.
If there are even small defects, it is better to eliminate them first. If the cord connected to the power supply is faulty, the equipment cannot be used.
While the motor is running and the drum is rotating, it is not permitted to:
- disassemble the shredder;
- clean hammers and sieves;
- move the device to another place;
- carry out repair work.
When the machine is idle for a long time, it is better to first let it run empty, that is, start the engine and leave it on for 10 minutes. This will help dry the windings.
