The production of this model began in 1995. It is equipped with a Belarusian-made diesel engine - D-248 from the Minsk Motor Plant. Engine Description

The line of six-cylinder V-shaped SMD engines is represented by engines such as SMD 60...65 and their more powerful versions - SMD 72 and 73.

According to its design features, the SMD 60 is a four-stroke power device with direct injection of diesel fuel. The main component of this engine is the crankcase. In this type of engine, it is designed to combine the cylinders into one solid block and add to them the upper part of the crankshaft housing. The required rigidity in such an engine is achieved due to the presence of partitions between the cylinders and the end walls of the crankcase block.

This engine is cooled using water. In winter, it is possible to replace water with antifreeze in this system. The system has a centrifugal water pump, which ensures the necessary circulation of liquid throughout the closed cooling system.

Lubrication system

The D-242 engine lubrication system is combined. Crankshaft and camshaft bearings, intermediate gear bushings and drive gears

And from the centrifugal filter, the purified oil flows into the radiator for cooling. From the oil cooler, oil flows into the engine line. The centrifugal oil filter housing contains valves: pressure reducer, drain and safety valves.

When starting the engine, unheated oil, due to the significant resistance of the radiator, flows directly through the pressure reducing (radiator) valve into the engine line, bypassing the radiator.

MTZ-82

The centrifugal filter safety valve serves to maintain an oil pressure in front of the filter rotor of 0.8 MPa. If the pressure increases above the specified value, part of the crude oil is drained through the valve into the engine crankcase.

Reducing and safety valves are not adjustable.

The drain valve is adjusted to a pressure of 0.25...0.35 MPa; it serves to maintain the required oil pressure in the main line of the engine. Excess oil is drained through the valve into the engine crankcase.

From the main line of the engine, through the channels in the cylinder block, the oil passes to all the crankshaft main bearings and camshaft journals. From the main bearings it goes through channels in the crankshaft to all the connecting rod bearings. From the 1st main bearing, oil passes through special channels to the bushings of the intermediate gear and the fuel pump drive gear, and to the fuel pump.

The valve mechanism parts are lubricated by oil coming from the rear camshaft bearing through channels in the block, cylinder head, drilling in the 4th rocker arm post into the internal cavity of the rocker arm axis and through the hole to the rocker arm bushing, from which it goes through the channel to the adjusting screw and rod.

Oil is supplied to the pneumatic compressor from the main oil line through drillings in the cylinder block and a special oil pipeline. The oil drains from the compressor into the engine crankcase.

Service

Maintenance of these engines comes down to the fact that constant monitoring of its operation is required, as well as timely routine maintenance, which are prescribed in the operating instructions for each engine. The manufacturer can guarantee that: the motor will work for a long time and without failure; maintain all its power indicators throughout its entire service life; be highly economical; only if the necessary maintenance specified in the instructions is provided.

Repair of SMD engines is most often resorted to due to the fact that malfunctions occur, and they, in turn, appear only due to non-compliance with operating rules. If crankcase oil is released through the exhaust pipe, then as a repair work, it is necessary to operate the engine at low or idle speed for a long time. If oil escaped through the flywheel housing, then there are two reasons for this: the self-moving oil seal was deformed, the gearbox sealing ring was cut off. As a repair, it is necessary to replace the failed parts.

SMD-62

Installation of such engines is carried out on T-150 tractors. The unit itself consists of such parts as: a crankcase, a crank mechanism, two cylinder heads, a cooling system and a lubrication system, and a gas distribution mechanism (GDM).

The placement of the cylinders in such a motor is carried out at an angle of 90 degrees or 1.53 radians. Also, these cylinders are made as a single block with the upper part of the crankcase. To carry out the fuel purification process, this engine has two types of filters. One is intended for fine cleaning of fuel, the other for coarse cleaning. In order to clean the air entering the cylinders, the engine is equipped with an air cleaning system, which is presented in the form of paper filter elements. To start this engine, a single-cylinder gasoline starting engine is used. The transmission of rotation from this engine to the SMD-62 flywheel is carried out through a gearbox with one stage.

Attachments

The design of the tractor provides for the possibility of its aggregation with a huge number of attachments, in particular:

The LTZ-60 tractor is an all-wheel drive agricultural machine with a towing class of 1.4 tons. This device, which is no longer produced today, is effectively used during spring sowing and for harvesting, plowing fields, transporting various goods, and landscaping work.

The production of the Lipetsk tractor began in 1991. It was decided to improve the previous model, the T-40, which was outdated and definitely needed improvement. The designers provided full reverse for any gear, resulting in increased maneuverability. And the fact that automatic equipment was installed on the front axle (which is the drive axle) eliminated slipping of the rear wheels.

Engine

The four-cylinder diesel engine produced in Rybinsk, which powers the base model, is water-cooled. Its power is 60 horsepower, and it “eats” very little fuel - only 8.98 liters per hour.

Transmission
