  • The dissolution is a hybrid of a trailer and a semi-trailer and is designed for transporting long loads as part of a specialized road train. The transported cargo rests on special supports - the so-called “bunches”: its front part is on the tractor bunks, and the rear part is on the bunks; in this case, the weight of the load is partially transferred to the tractor, and partially to the supporting frame and wheels of the dissolution. To ensure the transmission of traction force, the dissolution is equipped with a drawbar of constant or variable length; sometimes the role of the drawbar is played by the long load itself.

Based on the number of axles, trailers are divided into single-, double- and multi-axle. According to the type of cargo platform (the type of cargo transported), in domestic practice, trailers are usually divided into flatbed, dump, dump trailers, tank trailers, van trailers, heavy-duty trailers, light trailers, and special trailers. A similar division applies to semi-trailers.

In the designs of trailers, semi-trailers and trailers, various wheel steering systems can be used to improve the handling of the road train. Coupling devices are usually standardized. What documents are needed to transport a tractor?

At the stage of preparation for the delivery of oversized cargo, it is necessary to collect documents to obtain permission. The legislation provides for the following required package of documents:

  • driver's license;
  • vehicle registration certificate;
