  • An equally important maintenance point is replacing the compression level. It is believed that the optimal value should be in the region of 9-12 atmospheres, which is equivalent to 0.9-1.2 MPa. If the compression is below 9 atmospheres, then, most likely, the piston rings are not worn in enough, since the engine is still new. To make sure of this, turn on the engine and let it idle. The load should be minimal.
  • So, after ten hours we turn off the engine and measure the compression again. If its level is still below 9 atmospheres, then this already indicates a malfunction. In this case, the motor will not produce rated power and will experience frequent overloads.

  • First you need to make sure that you have the necessary fuel - AI-92. In addition, it is necessary that the room is well ventilated.
  • So, let's start pumping fuel - to do this, press the corresponding button on the instrument panel
  • The engine operating mode switch must be set to the ON position.
  • Make sure that the lower carburetor lever is turned all the way to the right. This will activate the fuel supply
  • Make sure that the upper carburetor lever is turned all the way to the right. This will open the air damper
  • Move the lever responsible for the accelerator to the maximum position
  • Smoothly pull the recoil starter cable towards you to start the engine. We do this until the engine starts

  • So ten hours have passed. We turn off the engine and let it cool for two hours. Then we measure the compression, which, remember, must be at least 9 atmospheres. Otherwise, the problem most likely lies in defective gears or a manufacturing defect.
  • If the compression is in perfect order, the run-in can be considered complete. We drain the used fluids and fill in new ones recommended by the manufacturer.

And somehow I’m already used to it. Moreover, all the breakdowns are minor. The engine runs like a clock and confidently starts in 20-degree frost. We use the device together with our son in turns. During three years of operation, no major defects arose. The engine consumes 92 gasoline on average 1 liter per hour. We are already accustomed to noise and vibrations; any budget car has them.
