Engine

The Akros 595 plus RSM 152 uses a Cummins 6L TAA diesel engine with turbocharged fuel supply. A reliable unit with a 20% torque reserve allows the combine to effectively perform its tasks in any situation. The engine air cooling system is borrowed from the Akros 580 version. It is an air intake, the rotating effect of which is transmitted from a hydraulic motor, supplemented by an air compressor with a receiver. The latter is installed in the basic configuration of the machine.

One of the advantages of the Cummins 6L TAA engine is considered to be efficiency, which consists of high performance and a modest “appetite”. Together they provide low consumption per ton of grain mass. The 540-liter fuel tank allows the combine to be operated for up to 14 hours without refueling (fuel consumption - 1.9 l/t).

Design and operating features

Acros 595 plus PCM 152 is built on the basis of the Acros 590 combine. The equipment inherited some elements from its predecessor. A strong air flow thoroughly cleans the grain mass. The fan speed can be adjusted by the operator from the cab, providing more efficient airflow.

A single hydraulic connector reduced the time for converting the machine by 3 times. The basic configuration of the combine now includes an electro-hydraulic system with automatic ground contour following, which improves the quality of harvesting and reduces losses when harvesting. The cleaning process itself has been made as easy as possible due to programmable preset settings, automatic transfer of the adapter to the “transport” position and 3 operating modes;
an improved threshing system consisting of several elements. The super drum with a diameter of 800 mm has high inertia and copes well with curled, wet and clogged ears. The large diameter creates ideal threshing geometry and low risk of damage. The drive with a long service life is adapted for operation with maximum loads. 5-key 7-stage straw walker with large surface area provides better separation. The grooves in the keys are made lengthwise for better grain spillage. The system contains grain loss sensors that determine the correct threshing settings. The grain heap coming out of the straw walker and concave passes through a 2-stage cleaning system;
powerful blowing with a 6-blade fan creating a dense air flow. The speed of the system is adjusted from the cab and displayed on the control panel. A wide range of settings allows you to minimize losses when working with small-seeded varieties. A new cleaning system with an additional sieve that forms a second blown cascade makes the blowing more efficient. As a result, grain enters the bunker and does not require additional cleaning. Remote adjustment allows you to quickly respond to changing conditions;
The built-in chopper-spreader with self-sharpening knives and the function of adjusting the angle of the guide blades cuts and distributes straw efficiently over the entire surface of the field. The element contains 64 double-edged knives with wear-resistant edges. The thickness of the knives has been increased by 1.5 times;
a chaff spreader that ensures the distribution of chaff over the entire working width of the header (a necessary condition for plowless processing). The chaff spreader is controlled from the cabin or from outside.
