The six-wheel drive uses the entire weight of the grader and 6 tires to operate. The two-channel hydrostatic drive system increases productivity in all types of work. From light to heavy-duty, dirty work, the G Series 6WD graders are more productive in any application than their traditional counterparts. The automatic differential lock remains engaged while driving in a straight line, disengages when cornering in excess of 10 degrees, and engages again when driving in a straight line. The transmission's event-driven shifting (EBS) software measures engine load, as well as other inputs, for optimal smooth shifting each time the operator selects a new gear.
Cooling system
Coolers stacked on top of each other handle large volumes of heat while keeping the machine to a minimum length. The transmission, hydraulics, axle and air conditioners are hinged and can be tilted for easy cleaning. When operating in very dusty conditions, a reversible fan moves air through the cooling system in the opposite direction every 10, 20, 30 or 40 minutes. Currently, these functions are controlled by the operator via a monitor. These features are part of the standard equipment on every G Series model.
Operator control panel
The enhanced operator console provides a range of new features that improve visibility, comfort and productivity. Increasing the size of the front windows and reducing the width of the stationary console significantly improved visibility.
Grade Pro
The fingertip controls are integrated into the seat armrest and the controls are positioned according to industry standards. The controls can be controlled using one of the levers on the left armrest, or with a regular steering wheel. Automated cross-slope traversing makes it easier to maintain stable slope control by performing the job with just one lever. The operator simply selects the desired slope and side of the blade to be controlled manually. Once installed, the system automatically adjusts the opposite blade lift cylinder to maintain grade. Grade Pro exclusive helps experienced operators stay on top of their game and inexperienced operators gain experience faster.

The main frame of the motor grader has a box-shaped structure made by welding. The thickness of the top and bottom plates is 23 mm, the side walls are 16 mm. The full swing angle of the front axle wheels is 32 degrees. The tilt angle of the wheels in all directions is 20 degrees. The John Deere 672G has a helical gear differential that allows you to select a locking mode (manual or automatic). The turntable is highly durable (diameter – 1524 mm, lateral displacement – 787 mm, rotation – 360 degrees).
