  • DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE

    John Deere 1050J is the flagship crawler bulldozer of the J series, representing the heavy traction class. When designing the model, the developers took into account many years of experience and the latest developments in this area, which had a positive effect on the quality of the product. A well-thought-out design and large mass provided the machine with the stability necessary to perform complex work. The model received enhanced protection. The smooth lower protective tray and high ground clearance eliminated debris getting stuck. All elements that have regular contact with the negative external environment were equipped with protective covers and strips.

    The John Deere 1050J was positioned as a bulldozer for particularly difficult work. The equipment had the maximum loosening depth in its class. The model has been used by many companies in various fields related to the movement of large masses of soil. Among the main areas of application of the bulldozer are the forestry industry, pipeline laying, construction segment, and industry. The machine was actively used in fighting forest fires, working with waste and demolishing various types of structures.

    The series line consists of one modification – John Deere 1050J.

    Powerful new product from John Deere – 1050K bulldozer

    January 29, 2016

    The model has a power of 350 hp. and operating weight 42,800

    With. and an operating weight of 42,800 kg. The advantages of the bulldozer include a dual-circuit hydrostatic drive, good visibility, ease of control and engine response. In addition, operators have access to a new economy mode that allows them to regulate engine speed and thereby save up to 25% of fuel. The machine is designed to perform road construction, mining, quarrying and other large-scale work.

    John Deere 1050K bulldozers are designed and manufactured using the latest tools and technology to meet the company's high quality standards. Reliability and longevity are achieved through the use of high-quality components: a durable one-piece frame, isolated planetary final drives and a PowerTechTM engine with wet cylinder liners.

    The PowerTechTM engine has a high power-to-weight ratio, allowing the dozer to move more material. This is also facilitated by a dual-circuit hydrostatic transmission: unlike transmissions with a torque converter, it makes it possible to move a full blade without loss when cornering. This allows the operator to complete more work without additional effort.

    Operator efficiency is also improved with a more comfortable, spacious and quieter cab. It is equipped with a large number of components that increase comfort, reduce fatigue and increase productivity. Thus, a sealed keypad provides the ability to start the engine without an ignition key, and an advanced multifunctional color LCD monitor with push buttons displays a wide variety of data on the operation and status of the machine and allows you to change its settings.

    An important advantage of 1050K bulldozers is their unsurpassed service availability. Access to dipsticks, filler necks, batteries and vertically mounted filters is absolutely free. Service points are conveniently grouped and located on one side of the machine, speeding up daily maintenance. Even accessing transmission components only takes a few minutes.

    The JDLink machine condition monitoring system comes standard with a free 3-year subscription. The system allows you to remotely monitor the condition of the machine, control the location and parameters of its operation, receive notifications about faults that have occurred on a mobile device or work computer, as well as remotely view fault codes, carry out diagnostics and program controllers.

    “A bulldozer is a truly universal machine, an indispensable assistant when performing a variety of jobs. We are constantly working to develop the model range of these machines and strive to ensure that our equipment meets the needs of the most demanding customers. The 1050K bulldozers are an excellent proof of this, as they demonstrate best-in-class power, reliability and productivity,” comments Alexey Zhurkevich, product marketing manager at John Deere.

    UNIT John Deere 1050J

    The basis of the John Deere 1050J is a powerful frame. The crawler type chassis has front and rear guide rollers. The track chain is lubricated and sealed.

    Chassis parameters:

    • length of the supporting part of the tracks – 3175 mm;
    • supporting surface area taking into account the width of the shoe (560/610/710 mm) – 35560/38735/45149 sq. cm;
    • number of road wheels (on each side) – 7;
    • number of support rollers (on each side) – 2;
    • number of shoes (on each side) – 44.

    The transmission is an automatic transmission with a hydrostatic dual-circuit drive. Among its features are:

    • separate hydraulic motor and hydrostatic pump for each track;
    • availability of diagnostic ports;
    • stepless speed control;
    • presence of a retarder pedal to reduce speed;
    • automatic adjustment of power and speed taking into account the load.

    The maximum speed developed by the bulldozer is 11 km/h.

    The machine is controlled using a single lever. In this case, turns are carried out without a drop in power flow and with smooth speed control.

    Braking of the vehicle is performed through hydrostatic action by fully pressing the retarder pedal or moving the control lever to the neutral position. When the engine stops, wet multi-disc brakes are activated. The parking brake is also applied via a lever or by pressing the emergency stop button. The machine cannot move when the brake is activated, which reduces wear on the discs and reduces the frequency of their maintenance.

    The hydraulic system includes an axial piston pump with a capacity of 258 l/min. Hydraulics are controlled using a joystick. The maximum pressure in the system is 26000 kPa.

    The electrical system consists of an 80 A generator and 2 1000 Ah batteries.

    The John Deere 1050J is equipped with a cabin with ROPS/FOPS protection systems. The salon is distinguished by increased noise and sound insulation and provides comfortable working conditions. The driver is provided with a soft seat with comfortable visibility in all directions. The multifunctional LCD monitor shows all the necessary information about the operation of the equipment. The cab is equipped with 4 front and 2 rear lights. There are also reflectors at the rear.
