DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
John Deere 1050J is the flagship crawler bulldozer of the J series, representing the heavy traction class. When designing the model, the developers took into account many years of experience and the latest developments in this area, which had a positive effect on the quality of the product. A well-thought-out design and large mass provided the machine with the stability necessary to perform complex work. The model received enhanced protection. The smooth lower protective tray and high ground clearance eliminated debris getting stuck. All elements that have regular contact with the negative external environment were equipped with protective covers and strips.
The John Deere 1050J was positioned as a bulldozer for particularly difficult work. The equipment had the maximum loosening depth in its class. The model has been used by many companies in various fields related to the movement of large masses of soil. Among the main areas of application of the bulldozer are the forestry industry, pipeline laying, construction segment, and industry. The machine was actively used in fighting forest fires, working with waste and demolishing various types of structures.

Thus, a sealed keypad provides the ability to start the engine without an ignition key, and an advanced multifunctional color LCD monitor with push buttons displays a wide variety of data on the operation and status of the machine and allows you to change its settings.

ENGINE
The John Deere 1050J is equipped with a Liebherr D 946 L A6 diesel engine, which is distinguished by its reliable design and long service life. The engine has an in-line design with a liquid cooling system, a turbocharger with intercooling and direct fuel injection. The proprietary pressure lubrication system and the special design of the unit allow it to function effectively in areas with an inclination angle of up to 45 degrees. The machine's engine complies with Tier 3 (Euro-3) environmental requirements.

UNIT John Deere 1050J
The basis of the John Deere 1050J is a powerful frame. The crawler type chassis has front and rear guide rollers. The track chain is lubricated and sealed.

The transmission is an automatic transmission with a hydrostatic dual-circuit drive. Among its features are:
- separate hydraulic motor and hydrostatic pump for each track;

- presence of a retarder pedal to reduce speed;
- automatic adjustment of power and speed taking into account the load.
The maximum speed developed by the bulldozer is 11 km/h.
The machine is controlled using a single lever. In this case, turns are carried out without a drop in power flow and with smooth speed control.
Braking of the vehicle is performed through hydrostatic action by fully pressing the retarder pedal or moving the control lever to the neutral position. When the engine stops, wet multi-disc brakes are activated. The parking brake is also applied via a lever or by pressing the emergency stop button. The machine cannot move when the brake is activated, which reduces wear on the discs and reduces the frequency of their maintenance.
The hydraulic system includes an axial piston pump with a capacity of 258 l/min. Hydraulics are controlled using a joystick. The maximum pressure in the system is 26000 kPa.
The electrical system consists of an 80 A generator and 2 1000 Ah batteries.
The John Deere 1050J is equipped with a cabin with ROPS/FOPS protection systems. The salon is distinguished by increased noise and sound insulation and provides comfortable working conditions.
