Operator's cabin
The Vogele Super 1600 asphalt paver is equipped with an open cab. The racks are made of metal, and the covering is made of reinforced fiberglass. If necessary, curtains can be hung between the posts.
To ensure good visibility of the working platform, the driver's and operator's seats can be moved to the side. The driver monitors the condition of the machine, including the receiving hopper, working equipment, controllers and auger chamber. This main element of the asphalt paver can be a fixed width SB 250 or an extendable AB 500-2 or AB 600. In the basic configuration it is equipped with a screed and vibrators, and in the extended configuration it is equipped with a screed and 1 or 2 tamper bars.

Working at low engine speeds, the machine generates the required amount of energy to heat the screed sealing system to operating temperature in a short time. To adjust the speed, there are three modes on the control panel: MIN, ECO and MAX, which are activated by pressing the corresponding buttons. ECO mode (125 kW at 1800 rpm) is suitable for processing 70-80% of all asphalt surfaces. This mode reduces fuel consumption, emissions, wear and noise.

Vogele Super 1800 2 (second generation) is a popular asphalt paver with compact dimensions and high performance.
Serial production of the model started in 2009. The developers presented a unique product for the specialized equipment market, which had no analogues among machines of a similar class at that time. The machine was significantly superior to its competitors in terms of efficiency, profitability and reliability. Currently, its production has been completed, in the manufacturer’s line it was replaced by the Vogele Super 1800 3 model. The technique is used in the formation of coverage both in small areas (sidewalks, bicycle paths) and in large-scale road construction projects. A special feature of Vogel Super 1800 2 is the ability to perform various tasks of compaction, distribution and leveling of the coating (degree of compaction: high or standard). The use of a crawler undercarriage makes the paver very stable and allows paving to be carried out with high quality even on weak substrates.

The hopper capacity is 13 tons, which is enough to ensure a continuous flow of mixture when laying asphalt. The conveyor belt in the bunker is located at an angle, which makes it possible to lay it on an inclined surface (for example, paving bridges). The hopper is equipped with large oscillating pressure rollers for convenient and shock-free docking.

DEVICE
The Vogele Super 1800 2 track-type chassis with rubber shoes is responsible for traction on the ground. The element is driven by a hydraulic drive with separate control of the electronic and moving parts. The choice between transport and operating mode is carried out electrically. Thanks to electronic control, the paver confidently makes turns or moves along a straight road. Difficult terrain is not a problem for this technique. The powerful track drive and easy steering allow you to perform almost any operation. Special discs in the track sprockets convert the power of the unit into speed with almost no loss. Due to the large contact area, maximum traction force is ensured, which allows laying at a given speed, regardless of terrain conditions. Hydrostatic brakes are used to stop equipment.

The main working element of the Vogele Super 1800 2 is the screed plate. Several types of equipment are available for this line:
- SB 250 (standard/fixed width);
- AB 500-2 (sliding set);
- AB 600 (sliding version).
In the basic version, the working body is equipped with a vibration device and a vibrating beam, in the extended version - 1 or 2 tamper bars and a vibrating beam. A uniform laying surface is achieved through the use of vibration, a heating mechanism and a tamper. When the automatic paving function is turned on, different parts of the screed are heated separately, which saves fuel.
Vogel Super 1800 2 ensures safe and clean mixing. A hopper with a hydraulic device in the front part directs the mixture onto a conveyor, which flows in a dense stream into the front area. The conveyor belt is located at an angle, which allows installation on an inclined surface. The hopper is equipped with oscillating pressure rollers for shock-free and easy docking. Augers and conveyors have continuous monitoring and proportional control, which ensures consistently high quality of the mixture. The height of the auger can be adjusted across the entire width by up to 200 mm. The large diameter of the auger blades (400 mm) allows for optimal distribution of the mixture when laying over large widths.

The Vogele Super 1800 2 platform is designed for comfortable work. There are 2 side chairs with height adjustment. By analogy with chairs, the control panel on which the main sensors are located can be moved. A special V-tronic mechanism is responsible for prompt monitoring of malfunctions and problems in the operation of the machine.
