This equipment is equipped with blades (bulldozer and rotary), allowing for a wide grip during operation. The same capability is achieved with an articulated frame.

Controls
The steering operates on the front pair of swivel wheels through a drive consisting of two hydraulic cylinders. There is no mechanical connection between the wheels and the steering column.
Important! The use of the drive, the tilt of the steering wheels and the bending of the frame provides the unit with a turning radius of 7.8 m.

Frame GS-14.02
The frame design of the GS-14.02 motor grader has the required degree of rigidity and is distinguished by the following features:
- the front frame is made of steel, it is a welded box with a slight slope forward, which provides better visibility from the operator’s cabin;
- The rear frame has special fastenings for mounting mounted modules.
The frame hinges are controlled by hydraulic cylinders, allowing for turns in both directions with a deviation of 26 degrees.

Steering Features
The GS-14.02 grader has a 2-cylinder steering drive that acts hydraulically on the front swivel wheels. In this case, the turning radius is 7.8 m. The wheels and steering column are not connected mechanically.
Hydraulic shoe brakes are mounted on the wheels of the rear axle. The parking disc brake is connected to the drive gear of the central gearbox. The brake system is quite reliable and is able to hold the car even if the engine stalls.
