At the end of the sixties of the last century, mass production of universal light-duty Hyundai trucks - HD65 and HD72 - was launched in South Korea. Both models were produced in five modifications, which differed in wheelbase size: 2550, 2575, 3025, 3705 and 3735 mm. At the same time, the lifting capacity of the HD65 was 2.5 tons, and the HD72 lifted 3.5 tons.
Modifications

This modification was used exclusively for long-distance transportation of perishable products. Within the city, the refrigerator could be replaced by a simple insulated Hyundai van, also a fairly effective means of delivering frozen food.
Driver's cabin
The cabin is made from a single sheet of metal using the stamping method. There is no hood in its design, and reinforcement elements are provided in components subject to heavy loads. Safety is due to the use of sufficiently wide glass and large-area mirrors. The cabin shape of the Hyundai HD72 is rectangular, it has a significant volume, which guarantees the convenience of the driver and two passengers.

The South Korean truck enters Russia through the Mitsubishi dealer network.
