The design of the EK 270 uses many different elements manufactured by foreign manufacturers, which significantly increased the reliability and reliability of the equipment. The entire control system here is used from Bosch. It is worth noting that most modern excavators are equipped with Bosch hydraulics, since this system functions properly even under the most severe operating conditions. In order to reduce the level of vibration vibrations in the operator's cabin, as well as on the excavator frame itself, special hydraulic supports manufactured by the manufacturer Simrit were used.
The excavator has a lot of positive reviews. The main qualities of this technology, which have created great demand, are high performance and strength of the entire structure. Moreover, with all this, the machine has a very affordable price, due to which the operation of the model is often observed in small companies.
High reliability and quality of all excavator elements was achieved through modern design methods, the use of modern equipment, the use of high-quality components, as well as through strict control throughout the entire production process. These elements themselves are made of low-alloy steel, which is characterized by increased durability and strength. The design also uses steel 10 HSND, but it is not used everywhere, but only in those elements that experience increased load. The basic digging bucket is made from Hardox steel.
Welding work is carried out using Kemppi semi-automatic welding machines. Esab materials are used, which are of high quality. All this, combined with modern technologies and advanced welding methods, has made it possible to significantly increase the strength of welds, which also affects the service life of the excavator.
The characteristic features of this model are high efficiency and increased reliability. Rotations of the entire superstructure are carried out using hydraulic pumps from the manufacturer Bosch and a planetary gearbox, which, by the way, for the EK 270 is manufactured by the Italian company Trasmital.
The undercarriage is traditionally an X-shaped frame to which the tracks are attached. A special feature of this frame design is its high resistance to torsion and bending, which provides increased stability when performing any work. The caterpillar beams have a gable surface, due to which soil practically does not clog in the platform elements. In addition, the track beams are also equipped with guide rails that prevent the tracks from accidentally jumping off the rollers. Speaking of rollers, support and tension rollers have a large margin of safety, thanks to which the equipment can operate under high loads for quite a long time.
The structures of the excavator handle and boom are also made by welding, but have a box-shaped section and special stiffeners that provide the working parts with high performance.
