Due to the peculiarity of the location of adjacent disks, which cannot be placed closer than 25-27 cm, because they will begin to clog. Therefore, on hard soils there are sometimes unplowed areas. But, for chopping stubble, this technique is almost ideal and is suitable for low-power tractors.
Four-row diskers have another problem - excessive consumption of fuel and lubricants due to an increase in the number of rows of disks, which essentially do the same job at least twice, without particularly affecting the final quality of plowing. In addition, a more powerful tractor is needed than in the previous case.
