Minuses

The control handle for the mixture throttle valve pops out (but is easily inserted back). Drips the amount of oil from the control screw to lubricate the chain.

Purchased for use in hiking conditions (small tire).

Cold starts 2-3 times.

During transportation, slight leakage of chain lubrication oil was detected, even with the adjustment screw fully screwed in. During operation this is not noticeable, but when transporting over long distances it was necessary to lay the device with this hole “not down”. I think we need to consider the possibility of installing a “shut-off” gasket.

In general, I am satisfied with the result of use (a couple of dry trees during the last fishing trip).

pros

It started up right away, sawed a 35 cm log without straining, I was pleased with the saw, it’s an excellent choice for your money, and if you need it, there’s a video on YouTube, I recommend buying it.

Features of using the Carver Promo PSG-45-15 bladeless saw are described in detail in the instructions, so it is recommended to study it before use. When working with it, you must wear special protective clothing and anti-vibration gloves. The saw must be started at a distance of at least 3 m from the place where it is refueled.

Before use, check the chain tension. If everything is correct, then the chain can be pulled freely by no more than 4-6 mm. After installing a new chain, it is advisable to check the tension until it is completely broken in. The manual describes in detail how to start a cold and warm engine.

Lightweight, compact, all the common advantages of electric saws, price. Oil consumption.

Minuses

There is no chain brake, although it is indicated on the market in the characteristics of the model. The chain included in the Rezer kit doesn't suck, in my opinion, IMHO. The description does not indicate the type of chain oil, I use regular M-8V (autool). The sawing speed of 6m/s is too low, but this has an advantage - the recoil is also weaker.

The description says that the saw cannot be used for cutting grooves in wood - as much as possible, that’s what it was purchased for. I cut out the grooves for the pigtail, although I also used Carver gasoline to help, but I did the cuts electrically. Aligning the depth and vertical edges of the groove with the tip of the tire works very well, the main thing is to take your time and be careful. When you first turn it on at idle, turn it on and wait for the lubricant to appear, and only then install the chain.

After felling and sawing birch trees with a gasoline Carver RSG-45-18K, I purchased a 1500W trimmer from the same company and now an electric saw. The dacha tools from this manufacturer are very optimal in the consumer properties/price/quality ratio
