Technical characteristics of the MKSM 800 mini loader: control, engine, overall dimensions, working equipment


The MKSM-800 loader is a multi-purpose municipal construction machine, ideal for moving and loading soil (bulk materials), leveling terrain, drilling wells, digging trenches, clearing areas of debris and snow, and transport and storage operations with single loads.
Model MKSM-800 is a product of CHETRA. Thanks to its small dimensions and versatility, this loader efficiently and quickly performs large volumes of work in cramped conditions (alleys, city streets, markets, parking lots), where it is impractical to use conventional municipal equipment. MKSM-800 fits into openings 1.8 m wide and 2.1 m high, which again allows it to be used for maintaining pedestrian paths and sidewalks, landscaping and road maintenance. The model is distinguished by high speed and performance.

It is no coincidence that special equipment is called multifunctional. Thanks to a wide range of replaceable equipment, MKSM-800 is used to perform a variety of tasks. Moreover, you can equip the equipment with the necessary device in a matter of minutes, and the process itself does not require the involvement of an experienced specialist. The loader operates both indoors and outdoors. Tests carried out by CHETRA before the start of serial production of the model showed its high efficiency when performing harvesting, repair and earth-moving work using a variety of equipment.

MKSM-800 is an ideal option when it is necessary to carry out basic or auxiliary work, but there is not enough space for large-sized and powerful equipment. A small loader pays for itself quite quickly, often being more cost-effective than larger models.

MKSM-800 turns almost in one place and smoothly changes speed thanks to the presence of a volumetric hydraulic drive and the possibility of stepless speed switching. Operating the loader is extremely simple. All operations are carried out using a pair of joysticks located on the side panels.

This model, in comparison with analogues, has the following distinctive features:

  • high levels of controllability and cross-country ability;
  • the presence of an advanced diesel engine;
  • ease of preventative maintenance and inspection;
  • volumetric hydraulic drive;
  • convenient controls.

Until recently, CHETRA offered customers two modifications of MKSM-800, differing in indexes. The MKSM-800K model was equipped with a Cummins (or John Deere) diesel unit, the MKSM-800N version was equipped with a Hatz engine. Now A-series loaders are again available on the market, having received design changes. New modifications have a welded frame, and the gear drive of the pump has disappeared. To optimize the launch of the power plant at sub-zero temperatures, a clutch is installed in the MKSM-800A models.

The latest modification of the loader was the MKSM-800A-1 version, which debuted at the YugBuild-2013 exhibition. This model received pneumatic wheels with tubeless tires and a modified suspension.

Compared to similar technical equipment from other manufacturers, the described equipment is distinguished by:

  • the presence of a diesel power unit with air or liquid cooling;

Of course, in light of all of the above, the price of the MKSM 800 mini-loader is of interest. On average, such equipment will cost an organization about 1 million rubles, which is a completely normal price for highly reliable and versatile equipment.

Design features of the MKSM-800 loader:

Loader MKMS-800

differs not only in its design solutions, but also in its filling. The machine has a three-cylinder diesel engine with low fuel consumption and liquid cooling. The hinged rear hood provides convenient access to the loader engines and components. Uniform heating of the loader cabin and means to facilitate engine starting at low temperatures are provided. The control system allows you to clearly and smoothly control simultaneously all work operations (for example, loading snow into a dump truck to a height of up to 3 meters), which are performed using joysticks. The excellent maneuverability of the loader ensures a turning radius with the main bucket of 2.44 m, that is, the MKSM-800 loader is capable of spinning on its “patch”, simultaneously moving and turning. The travel speed of the MKSM-800 loader is 12 km/hour. Another important advantage of the loader is stability when working on slopes of 10 degrees.

The small overall dimensions and weight of the MKSM-800 loader make it easy to transport in a truck or trailer. At the same time, the MKSM-800 loader can move between work areas under its own power.

Engine

The most common versions of MKSM-800 are with 2 types of engines (American company John Deere and German company Hatz). However, some modifications of the loader are equipped with a Slovak Zetor engine. All the above engines are 4-stroke diesel (3-cylinder or 4-cylinder).

Versions with a John Deere unit are especially effective in regions with hot and dry climates. This motor has a liquid cooling system and a pre-heater, which allows it to be used at temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees. Now a similar modification of MKSM-800 is produced exclusively to order. The power of the John Deere engine is 36 (48) kW (hp), the engine life is 8000 hours.

The Hatz 3M41 engine is the most common in MKSM-800 models and has a number of advantages. Its service life is 18,000 hours, which is significantly more than its analogues. The air cooling used in the Hatz 3M41 does not require the installation of radiators and the use of coolants, which reduces maintenance intervals and operating costs. The motor is protected from violations of operating conditions by a specialized system that automatically turns it off when the pressure drops or the belt breaks. The Hatz 3M41 has a power of 36.9 (50) kW (hp). The German engine operates at temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees.

The main advantage of the Zetor 5201.22 motor is its considerable cost. again, the Slovak unit is equipped with pre-heating, which makes starting easier at low temperatures. This allows it to work even at -45 degrees. However, the service life of the Zetor 5201.22 is only 5000 hours.

MKSM-800 is equipped with hydraulic systems produced at enterprises located in Kovrov, Pargolovo or Salavat. Their only difference is the method of removal of wear products.

The equipment can be changed in a matter of minutes using a quick-release clamp. No specialized tools are required.

The all-metal operator's cabin of the MKSM-800 deserves special attention. It is hinged to the frame using silent block connections. It can be folded back and fixed for servicing the units and components of the loader. The door forms the front wall of the operator's cabin, with clothes hangers installed on the sides. Inside the operator's cab there is a sprung seat that can move longitudinally. Next to it is the washer reservoir. The operator's cabin contains all controls and devices, as well as indicators and instrumentation. There is also a box for accessories and tools. The front window of the operator's cab provides excellent visibility and is cleaned by a windshield wiper driven blade. The glass at the back serves as an emergency exit, and on the side there are windows with windows. Modern thermal insulation and a powerful heater maintain the required temperature in the forklift operator's cabin. Additionally, a dust separator fan is installed, which reduces the level of dust in the operator's cabin. By replacing windows and doors with protective grilles, the MKSM-800 operator's cabin can be transformed into a lightweight version. The safety belt and bar, safety bars and door locking feature ensure operator safety.

Right Panel Controls

With his right hand, the operator-driver can influence:

  1. lever (5) (Figure 1) for controlling the main equipment, it can have the following positions:
  2. forward (E) – the boom lowers;
  3. back (G) – the boom rises;
  4. to the right (I) – the bucket tips away from itself;
  5. to the left (K) – the bucket tips over onto itself.
  6. battery switch pos. 2 (Figure 2), after completing work on the mini-loader, the switch must be turned off;

Important: the battery switch must be turned off no earlier than 4-5 minutes after turning off the heater

  • switch (1) for road lighting (in parallel with the lights, the sidelights, license plate lights, and instrument lighting light up);
  • switch (3) for the mini loader cabin glass washer (the washer will operate as long as the switch is held in the “On” position);
  • sound signal button (5);
  • turn signal switch (7) (when the switch is on, the control indicator (6) will flash).

In addition, with the right hand the operator operates the handle (6) (Fig. 1) of the manual fuel supply drive. The handle positions can be as follows:

  • all the way forward - fuel is not supplied at all; all the way back – maximum fuel supply.
