The Belarus MTZ 320.4 tractor is equipped with a DC electrical system (12 V). It includes:

Characteristics of the hydraulic lifting system

The hydraulic system of MTZ equipment is separate-unit, universal. Provides control of mounted, semi-mounted and hydraulically trailed agricultural equipment on Belarus 320.4 tractors. Provides a load capacity of 1100 kg (at the suspension axis) and a maximum pressure of 200 kgf/cm².

The hydraulic system of the attachment includes:

Design of the MTZ 320 tractor

The design of the unit is classic and has small dimensions. The rear wheels are significantly larger in diameter than the front wheels. The cabin is located at the rear of the tractor, and in front there is a hood that covers the power unit. The drive is distributed over four wheels, which increases the ability to work in difficult weather conditions and when towing large loads and machinery.

Engine

The tractor is equipped with a 3-cylinder diesel engine of Slovak assembly (“LDW 1503 NR”, turbocharged), liquid-cooled and operating with direct injection. The advantage of the engine is reduced fuel consumption and high reliability. Due to the low failure rate, the power unit of the MTZ-320 tractors is also used in other modifications of this equipment.

The engine of the MTZ tractor is attached to the frame of the tractor, which increases the rigidity of the structure and the adhesion of individual elements. The hood above the engine protrudes noticeably from the front of the tractor, has a lid that folds forward and does not obstruct the view from the cab during driving and work.

Electrical equipment

The tractor is equipped with a 12 V DC electrical network. Sufficient power of the network, powered from a generator connected to the engine, allows for full use of lighting and signaling equipment. The operation of the main mounted systems does not involve the use of electric drives and is based on the functioning of the tractor hydraulic system.

Steering

Controllability is achieved by using hydrostatic and hydraulic pump-powered steering. For driver convenience, the steering wheel position is adjustable in angle and height. The hydraulic pump of the mechanism is installed on the engine, which simplifies access to it for maintenance and routine repairs.

Hydraulic system

To operate a utility tractor with attached equipment, a hydraulic system is used. Additional drives are connected to one of its outputs, after which they are activated by the operator.

Working with attachments in a tractor is interconnected with mechanical control and fixation circuits.

Models of the 320 series can be equipped with the following types of systems:

• front power take-off shaft (by default, only rear PTO is installed);
• mounted system for agricultural and municipal work;
• front additional weights that increase the tractor's traction capacity and stability when working with heavy and large attachments;
• transportation of trailers, including those equipped with a pneumatic braking system.

Cabin

Installing the tractor cabin on vibration isolators minimizes the distracting load on the driver during movement and work. The cabin is single-seat and equipped with windows for all-round visibility, as well as windshield wipers.

All windows open, and a forced ventilation system has been introduced to maintain working comfort.
