BKM based on MTZ BM-205D (BM-205V) is mainly used in the construction, maintenance and repair of power lines or communication lines. The basis for this machine is the MTZ-82 “Belarus” wheeled tractor, equipped with a blade, so it can be used for preliminary site planning, filling trenches and holes, after which it is possible to drill holes in the ground and install power line supports and road poles in them signs, advertising structures. The drilling machine can also be used for digging holes for planting trees.

Modifications
BM-205D is manufactured on the basis of MTZ-82, 82P and 92P tractors. Depending on the modification, the machine can be equipped with a blade or a loader bucket. Thus, the machine can be used when planning construction sites, for filling trenches/pits, loading and transporting bulk materials.

Scheme
The machine consists of a basic wheeled tractor and attachments mounted on it.

Optional equipment
- The additional fastening device DRU-01 is intended for the safe performance of electrical installation work on dilapidated wooden poles and supports of communication lines and 0.4-10 kV overhead lines.
- Provides fastening in a vertical position and prevents poles and supports from falling during electrical installation work.
- Levels the support installed in the drilled hole before backfilling.
- It has a quick-release mount that allows you to mount and dismantle the device in the field.

Technical parameters of the BM-205 drilling machine
Two configurations of this machine are produced - BM-205V and BM-205D. The first of them has a mechanical rotator drive and can work with a two-meter or three-meter drill rod. The second configuration has a hydraulic drive for tool rotation and a three-meter drill rod. Accordingly, the maximum drilling depth is three meters. The diameter of the drilling tool used ranges from 0.36 to 0.8 meters. The crane equipment is capable of lifting loads weighing up to 1.25 tons to a hook height of 7 meters. The full cycle of drilling a well and installing a support into it is carried out at a speed of 5.3 pcs. at one o'clock.

Drilling machine BM-205D
The BM-205D drilling machine is used for drilling and installing supports during the construction of power transmission and communication lines, repair and maintenance of power lines. The pit drill is also used when planning small construction sites; filling trenches and holes; loading and transporting bulk materials over short distances. The BM-205D is available in two configurations – with a bulldozer blade and a front-end loader bucket. The main type of drilling tool is a bladed drill. The drilling tool feed drive type is hydraulic.
Type - drilling tool rotation drive - hydraulic. The presence of a hydraulically adjustable feed of the drill to the bottom and automatic control of the speed of rotation of the drill allows you to select the most optimal and fastest soil drilling mode.

- hydraulic rod rotation drive with automatic rotation speed and torque regulator;
- reinforced metal structures of the supporting frame, crane device, supporting elements and other components through the use of closed profiles, tenon joints followed by welding, the use of bending operations instead of welding and other technical solutions;

The maximum torque on the tool reaches 4900 Nm. Before starting work, the tractor is installed on retractable supports with a hydraulic drive. When using a mechanical drive of the drilling mechanism, a power take-off box from the tractor engine is used.
Equipment
The drilling and crane machine BKM-317 contains:
- Ramu. It is metal, welded, and placed using stepladders on the frame of a car chassis. Equipped with:
- container for oil used by the hydraulic system;
- hydraulic cylinder for installing the mast - serves to lift and fix the latter in the working position, lowering it into the transport position;
- a power take-off box, which transmits rotation from the car engine to the hydraulic pump, winch drum, drill rod equipment, provides 3-speed mode and multi-directional rotation of the drill, reverse operation of the winch;
- winch - it has a cam-type worm drive, operating through coupling halves, the latter providing overload protection for the unit;
- cardans that transmit rotation to components and equipment;
- hydraulic pump - it is gear-type and operates from the intermediate shaft of the transfer case (distribution box);
- hydraulic jacks connected to outriggers - they eliminate manual installation of the drilling rig at the work site and make it stable during operations;
- control panel.
- A mast representing a welded metal structure. She carries:
- barbell;
- a rotating device powered by a mechanical or hydraulic drive;
- a bracket that enables the machine to lift loads;
- fencing and stairs made of metal elements.
- A hydraulic system providing:
- rotation and movement of the drill;
- transition of the mast from the transport position to the position required for work and the reverse process;
- installation/removal of outriggers, which are used to give the machine stability.
For drilling, taking into account the density of the soil, different drills are used:
- bladed - brand BK-012;
- conical - BK-02201;
- core - B-04201.
Specifications
The unit is self-propelled and is available in 3 configurations, distinguished by indexes 01, A-01 and 03. All of them:
- Mounted on the chassis of a GAZ-33081 vehicle.
- They have a hydraulic rod feed.
- Capable of drilling wells 3 m deep and 36-80 cm in diameter.
- With effort:
- feed during drilling - 24.5 kN;
- when lifting the drill - 31.65 kN;
- Weight - 6.3 tons.
Drilling and crane machines BKM-317 (corresponding to brands 01, A-01, 03) are distinguished by technical characteristics:
- The torsion moment on the drill is 4.9, 5.9 and 4.9 kNm.
- The method of transmitting rotation to the drill is mechanical, hydraulic, mechanical.
- The angle at which the mast is installed for work is 80-95°, 60-95° and 80-95°.
- The speed at which the drill rotates:
- for cars with index 01 and 03 - 109.1 and 150.6, 189.5 rpm;
- for A-01 - 52-130;
- A lifting device with a mechanical drive capable of lifting a load:
- weight - 1.25, 2.0, 1.25 tons;
- to a height of 6.3, 6.5 and 6.3 m.
The BM-205V drilling and crane machine is produced, in which the base chassis is the MTZ-82 tractor. It can construct wells 2 m deep at an angle of 60-120° and lift loads weighing up to 1.25 tons to a height of up to 6.5 m.
It is equipped with additional attachments: a bulldozer blade, a front loader bucket.
There is a modification of the BM-205D unit with a hydraulic drive of the drill and winch. Installation differences:
- the ability to construct wells with a depth of 3 m;
- load lifting height - 7 m;
- additionally equipped with cargo forks.
