The international exhibition of construction equipment and technologies bauma CTT RUSSIA will be held from June 4 to June 7, 2022 at the Crocus Expo IEC, Moscow. Next year the event celebrates its 20th anniversary. The first “STT” took place in May 2000 on Khodynskoye Field.

New ideas from the organizers include:

Thematic days. Each day of the exhibition will focus on one of the market segments:

June 4 – Road day // Road construction day;
June 5 – Mining day // Day of the mining industry;
June 6 – Lifting equipment day // Lifting equipment day;
June 7 – Construction vehicle day // Day of commercial vehicles in construction.

For the first time, the business program of the exhibition will be united on the bauma CTT FORUM platform - a conference platform for business events, where both new events and the best formats of past years will be presented. bauma CTT Forum will be located on the exhibition grounds in Hall No. 14 of Pavilion No. 3, which will provide additional synergy for exhibitors and business program visitors. The forum will last all four days of the exhibition and will also focus on the thematic days of bauma CTT RUSSIA 2022.

In the first quarter of 2022, a Construction Industry Dialog is planned - an event designed to bring together key market players, representatives of government agencies, specialized associations and unions, specialized and business media to discuss the results of the previous year, discuss current issues, and present plans for the current year. Details and additional information will be available on the exhibition website in January 2022.

Return to the market. New version of the Vladimirets tractor

In May 2022, the Kameshkovsky Mechanical Plant (KaMZ) shipped the first batch of Vladimir 4050 tractors with a traction class of 0.9. This machine was demonstrated at the exhibition. It was developed by the Czech company ZETOR on the basis of the well-known “Vladimirets”, which was previously produced at VMTZ.

“Vladimir” is equipped with a 4-cylinder Changchai 4G50T engine with a power of 36.9 kW. The working volume of the power unit is 3.26 liters, the maximum torque is 220 Nm at 1,650 rpm.

Competition "Innovations in construction equipment in Russia"

As part of the gala reception dedicated to the opening of bauma CTT RUSSIA 2022, the award ceremony for the winners of the competition “Innovations in Construction Equipment in Russia” will take place for the first time. The purpose of the competition is to identify innovative solutions in construction equipment presented in Russia, based on the opinions of members of an independent jury.

New from China. Consider the warehouse equipment segment

The new FD30 forklift was presented by Zoomlion. The model differs from its predecessors in its solid-cast, durable mast frame, which is welded using a robotic manipulator. The front and rear axles are solid, and the steering axle is equipped with a tapered roller bearing. The lifting system has lower shock absorption, which reduces vibration and shock of the mast.

The forklift cab has also been optimized. It has become more spacious, the control lever is now more conveniently located, and the pedals have become wider. The battery is protected with a special screen to extend its service life.

bauma CTT RUSSIA 2022 exhibition: series of materials

Three cherries on the cake

The range of the Kama auto giant at the central exhibition shone with three cherry-colored dump trucks. Two of them are representatives of the K4140 family. The first dump truck is KAMAZ-6580-S5 6x4 with a faceted Becema body with a load capacity of 25,550 kg. It is already known from our reviews and remains the flagship of the K4 construction line. The second is a construction 25.2-ton all-wheel drive KAMAZ-65802-S5 6×6 with a 16-cubic-meter NefAZ body with diagonal stiffeners. The bottom of the platform is welded from 6 mm Hardox steel, the sides are made from S500MC steel 5 mm thick. The technically permissible carrying capacity of a vehicle as part of a road train is 25.2 tons, and the permitted one is only 9.2 tons. For regional builders, such an allowance for overload on the roads is not a break in the pattern, but a daily norm of life.

The third new product is unique. Mining KAMAZ-65801-T5 8×4 K5042 with side unloading on the left side and tipping at an angle of 45°, which is unusual for single dump trucks. A similar design is widely used in multi-link trailers only. The body with a capacity of 19.2 m3 is made of domestic steel NLMK Quard 450 (the thickness of the bottom is 8 mm, and the sides are 6 mm) and is equipped with a left side with hydraulic locking. Heating by exhaust gases is provided.

For the entire 6580 family presented at the exhibition (i.e. this does not include the KAMAZ-6520-V K3540 “Lux” with the old engine and frame), in 2022 KAMAZ offers only one version of the 12-liter Mercedes-Benz OM 457LA engine .V3 (Euro 5) 401 hp (torque 2000 Nm at 1100 min-1). It’s interesting that the Daimler concern once developed this engine for buses, and now builders use it as firemen.

Only domestic brands. New items in the compact equipment segment

The same Kameshkovsky Mechanical Plant presented another new product at its stand - the PMK 800 side-steer loader. The machine is equipped with a Chinese 4-cylinder Xinchai engine with a power of 35.3 kW. The movement is controlled using levers, and the working equipment is controlled using pedals. The model's load capacity is 800 kg.

A new development in this segment was also presented by the Vulcan production association - the Mitrax MP 635 loader with an articulated frame and a telescopic boom. The maximum lifting height reaches 2,900 mm, and the power of the hydraulic flow for controlling attachments is 50 l/min. In the basic version, Mitrax is equipped with a self-leveling boom and a hydrostatic transmission with a hydraulic motor on all wheels (all-wheel drive). Customers are offered a choice of three engine options - Yanmar, MMZ or Kubota. The power of all offered units is the same - 35 hp.

Lifting equipment. What new did the producers show?

In addition to the backhoe loader that we talked about above, the Russian company UMG SDM demonstrated the UMG TLH3507 AG telescopic loader, which will be launched into series for agricultural use this year. The model is equipped with a domestic power plant YaMZ 534 with a power of 97 kW, a hydromechanical transmission and a self-locking differential of limited slip axles LSD.

The telescope has a large lift height (7,080 mm) and horizontal reach (4,040 mm). And an additional hydraulic line and quick coupler ensure the versatility of the model. We also note that the car is equipped with all the necessary lighting equipment in accordance with traffic regulations.

At the stand of the Galich Truck Crane Plant, visitors could see two new machines - the 50-ton truck crane KS-65715-2 of the Taxi series and the 35-ton all-terrain crane Pioneer. The peculiarity of the first model is that it can travel on public roads without dismantling the components: a two-section jib, a set of counterweights with a total weight of 10.8 tons and a set of hook suspensions.

The 35-tonne Pioneer series truck crane is mounted on a KAMAZ-63501 (8x8) off-road chassis. The model is equipped with a lifting operator's cabin and joystick hydraulic control. The arrow is made using OVALOID technology. This machine can be moved on public roads when equipped with a 1-ton counterweight, a jib and a second winch.

Next we move to the stand of the Klintsovsky Truck Crane Plant. We would like to note three new products: two truck cranes - KS-55713-5K-5V "Leader" and KS-55729-5K-1L, as well as an auto-hydraulic lift AGP-45-5K.

KS-55713-5K-5V “Leader” is the enterprise’s first truck-mounted crane with a lifting capacity of 55 tons. Moreover, it has the longest boom in its class (36.3 m) and the largest support contour (8.4x8 m). The load moment is 190 tm.

The new KS-55729-5K-1L truck crane of the Light series is capable of moving along the highway without special permits (load on the rear axle is 15 tons). The lifting capacity is 32 tons, the length of the oval-shaped boom is 31 m. The lifting height can be increased by installing a 9-meter jib with an inclination angle (can vary from 0 to 40°). As an option, the machine can be equipped with electro-proportional joystick control.

And finally, the third new product of the Klintsovsky Truck Crane Plant is the AGP-45-5K articulated-telescopic auto-hydraulic lift, the lifting height of which reaches 45 m. The load capacity of the platform is 450 kg. Among the advantages of this model, we note the ability to work below the horizon, precise positioning near objects using a second control panel on the working platform, and the fact that the elbow section can extend up to 3.5 m.

Nizhegorodskaya brought to the exhibition an updated tow truck with partial loading. The equipment is installed on a KAMAZ 65801 (8x4) chassis. The plant has already produced similar equipment, but in this model the design of the rear manipulator has been redesigned (now it can be lowered below the horizon).
