The JCB 220 engine is characterized by increased torque and low diesel fuel consumption. At the same time, the exhaust quality belongs to the Tier 2 class.

The advantage of the unit is its performance, which is more than 10% higher than that of similar engines. To regulate fuel consumption, several operating modes are used: economical, precise, hill climb, auto (for movement and transportation). Each of them is designed to perform specific work operations. When the engine starts, the economy mode is automatically set, after which the operator can change it independently. These options make it possible to reduce fuel consumption by 24%. Also, efficiency is positively affected by oil recirculation without passing through the hydraulic system cylinders. This reduces the operating cycle time. When operating in automatic mode and there is a low load on the hydraulic system, you can turn on the idle speed of the power unit.
