The task of creating a small, light-duty vehicle for freight and passenger transportation was set to the Gorky Automobile Plant in the late eighties of the last century. In 1996, serial production of the GAZ-32213 began. And seven years later, the assembly line carried out a redesign, as a result of which the car received an updated appearance and design parameters slightly different from the base model. The millionth model was produced in 2005. GAZelle-32213 is still produced to this day.

According to the designers' calculations, during the production of the car, approximately 150 modifications were made to the design, which are mainly related to adaptation to foreign components and systems. For example, since 2011, a brake system exclusively from Bosh has been installed, which has become standard equipment for any minibus configuration.

The company has converted its latest product, the all-metal GAZelle Next van with an extended wheelbase and high roof, into an ambulance.

Until now, the medical GAZelle Next was built on the basis of an on-board vehicle, on which a huge booth made of sandwich panels was installed. An ambulance with an all-metal body will begin to be produced before the end of autumn. You can stand upright inside the car, and all the medical equipment is arranged extremely compactly. There is a transition between the cabin and the salon with a sliding door (the version with a booth also has such a transition). The medical GAZelle Next with an all-metal body will be 20-30% cheaper than its imported counterparts.

Another new product based on the all-metal GAZelle is the auto shop.

A huge window is cut out on the left side, covered with a rigid “shutter”, which, when deployed, protects customers from the sun or rain, and the lower sash acts as a counter. There is a full set of equipment: refrigerators, an autonomous 220-volt generator, a supply of water.

The pickup truck was built by the Nizhny Novgorod company Luidor. They didn’t have time to really finish it, and therefore they assigned it to the most remote and poorly lit place, in the hall where food cars were demonstrated.

Luidor built this car on his own initiative: someone from the company’s management came up with the idea of ​​​​creating a Russian analogue of the American International CXT and Ford F-850. The basis was taken on the GAZon Next chassis with a two-row cabin, a YaMZ-534 engine, a standard wheelbase and maximum equipment, including air conditioning, cruise control, a multimedia system and other options. Luidor specialists worked on the style without interfering with the design - the sides of the cargo platform and original bumpers were made of fiberglass, the radiator grille was replaced, the rear tires were “stretched” on American-made chrome wheels, and the front wheels were covered with hubcaps. The interior was refined with soft leather in two colors, which was used to cover the front panel, door panels and seats. The ceiling was lined with suede, and the floor was covered with a beige “carpet”.

According to Luidor's representative, only a month and a half passed from the first sketches to a live prototype. It will take another couple of weeks to finish. In the meantime, the LAWN pickup truck has a cargo platform covered with sheets of technological plastic, and the bumpers, radiator grille and wheel arch extensions are made using garage technology. At the same time, the front bumper is “strung” on bolts and barely holds on. Instead of stylish aluminum running boards, there are hastily welded ones from steel rods.

The car is equipped with a fuel tank with a capacity of 70 liters. At the same time, the average gasoline consumption does not exceed 12 liters per 100 kilometers. Gearbox – mechanical, five-speed.
