Review of Peugeot Boxer 2.2Hdi L3H2 - 2008


I bought it at the end of April 2008... I chose from a Mercedes Sprinter 4-5 years old or a new Peugeot Boxer... I bought a 2-year warranty excluding mileage... When they gave me the car, they gave me a service book, where it is written in black and white that after 40 thousand km in total -the warranty for all components and assemblies ends... I was very unpleasantly surprised... Mikhail (Boxer manager) promised a maintenance cost of 6000 rubles with all materials once every 30 thousand km and an oil change is desirable once every 15 thousand km.

I left the showroom (AVES Ostankino)… while I was driving on a flat road, I just couldn’t get enough of it: nimble, nimble, comfortable… When I got out on the road, it got worse - the doors creaked, then I didn’t do anything, everything gives a temporary effect for 3-4 days .

At 1500 km, I broke a tire and reached for the spare tire, took it off, but couldn’t put it back on, the winch broke... On my first visit to the warranty service, I was refused about this, replacement was only for money (about 7,000 rubles)... I argued with the director, their diagnostics showed that my cable was tangled there, supposedly I didn’t tighten it before lifting the wheel... Nonsense... I asked for a written refusal to replace it under warranty, they refused... they also said that for some reason my right-hand dimensions are not working, I can’t do it steel, because You see, they don’t have a diagram... I came home, specially disassembled this winch, the gears are plastic, their teeth were broken... I carry a spare tire in the back... but the dimensions did not work, because... these... broke the dimensional wires (they were tied to the winch cables).

At 2500 the first free MOT... I drew their attention to the fact that the interior smelled of antifreeze... They decided to do something, they said when there was an obvious leak, then we would fix it... After the MOT I arrived at the loading point and found that my body had been dented... I began call... They said you can’t prove anything... They charged 500 rubles for replacing a marker light bulb...

At 15,000 I changed the oil and noticed that the plastic trim at the bottom of the door had fallen off somewhere along the way and was lost. It turns out that it’s my own fault... Now, if I had brought it to them, they would have stuck it on me...

At 30,000 I arrived for maintenance. It turns out that while I was rolling them out, the service mileage had decreased to 20 thousand km, and maintenance had become more expensive... They charged 8,500 rubles for maintenance and obliged me to come for maintenance at 40 thousand.

At 40,000 I came for maintenance... They said that I needed to change the ball joint... they changed it, they did it for about five hours instead of the promised three, because of them I didn’t have time to load it, I had to spend the night in the car... They took 20,500 and said that next time I need to change the front pads.

At 50,000 I did not change the oil.

I arrived at 60,000 for maintenance... We changed the pads and took 13,000.

At 80,000 I decided to forget about the guarantee, they still don’t do anything for free, they just suck money!

Now 85,000 km, something was knocking in the engine... During the diagnostics at the official dealer they said that it was either the clutch basket or the release... I took it apart at another service center (these square price tags were taken out), it turned out that the flywheel needs to be replaced... 23,000 rubles + labor... Waiting spare parts.

Yes... And one more thing... The body was hung in Russia... The warranty on it is 20 thousand, and the seller of the car does not bear any responsibility for it... A year has passed, the subframe is all rusty... It's up to you to draw conclusions!

Drove up to 155 thousand. km, the entire suspension needs to be replaced. Shock absorbers - 8500 rubles x 2 pcs. = 17 thousand Levers (you only need to change the silent blocks, but they are not sold separately, so we change the assembled levers) - 10,000 rubles x 2 pcs. = 20 thousand. Steering rods - 2000 rubles x 2 pcs. = 4 thousand (non-original). Steering tips - 1000 rub. x 2 pieces = 2 thousand (non-original).

Rake for 50 thousand. km started knocking, found a used one for 15,000 rubles + went over for 1,000 rubles. (a new rail costs 50 thousand rubles). Ball joints - 1000 rubles x 2 pcs. = 2 thousand Total 61,000 rubles. — a very expensive suspension + work to replace it is only another 10-15 thousand.

The windshield caught several stones, so I decided to change it. The original Pilkington costs 30 thousand rubles - for what??? I installed a Chinese analogue for 3 thousand. I got into a minor accident: the wing - 7500 rubles, part of the bumper (1 of 3) - 5000 rubles, the eyelash under the headlight - 2500 rubles.
