Shantui SD32 is capable of moving at speeds up to 11.5 km/h (forward gear). If it is necessary to move backwards, this value reaches 13.5 km/h. Shantui SD32 is one of the largest crawler bulldozers of the brand. The development of the machine was carried out using technologies provided by the Japanese company Komatsu. Shantui SD32 belongs to the 25th traction class and has the highest performance. The unique parameters of the machine are due to the special design and the presence of a turbocharged supercharger.
Shantui SD32 is positioned as construction equipment with a long service life of trouble-free operation. The characteristics of the bulldozer do not change regardless of climatic conditions. The model operates effectively at altitudes up to 3.5 km. Such features and a durable frame determine the high popularity of the equipment among consumers.
Shantui SD32 is used in the mining industry (mineral development) and large-scale production. The bulldozer is also used in the construction, forestry and utility segments. The machine is usually purchased for specific tasks, but it has wide functionality and is suitable for performing the following operations:
- loosening rocks and soil;

The developers chose the Cummins NTA855-C360S10 diesel unit as the engine for the Shantui SD32 bulldozer. Its design includes a turbocharger and intercooler. Engine type: in-line four-stroke six-cylinder with water cooling. Engine speed is set using a centrifugal all-mode regulator. And the cooling system is a device with forced circulation using a housing pump, and also includes a fan.
The nominal fuel consumption in the operating instructions is indicated at 245 g/kWh, the fuel tank volume is 600 l. An engine preheater is available as an option.

Design and operating features
Shantui SD32 is a modern development that embodies design innovations, the latest inventions and advanced engineering solutions. The running gear for the bulldozer is a suspension with a balancing weight and single-spur track tracks with 41 tracks. The chassis is of a floating type and is mounted on 2 support and 7 support rollers. There is a tension wheel on each side. Disc brakes installed on the machine do not require adjustment. The height of the lugs is 80 mm, the width of the tape is 560 mm. This design ensures high maneuverability and stability.
The Shantui SD32 transmission consists of the following elements and components:
- planetary gear with a refillable forced-type lubrication system and a multi-disc clutch, which is controlled by hydraulics;
- closed-type multi-disc rotary clutch operating in an oil bath. The element is hydraulically separated and controlled by hydraulic or manual drive;
- final drive, including a 2-stage spur gearbox with a bubble lubrication mechanism (splash);
- band brake of the rotation clutch. Operated by foot;
- 1-phase 1-stage three-element torque converter (torque converter);
- main drive, represented by a bubble lubrication mechanism and a spiral-gear bevel gear;
- liquid cooling system.

Shantui SD32 is equipped with a powerful hydraulic system, which is based on a gear pump with a capacity of 335.5 l/min and working together with 2 double-acting hydraulic cylinders with a diameter of 110 mm. The system is controlled by a hydraulic control valve. The maximum pressure is 14 MPa. The hydraulic system is designed to facilitate control and ensure the proper level of operating parameters.
The Shantui SD32 is equipped with a large cabin with additional operator protection. The basic configuration includes an air ventilation system and a heater. There are a small number of controls, but they are easy to use and functional. A special condition monitoring system for the bulldozer shows information about the characteristics of the equipment, allowing you to stop work at the right time and eliminate the cause of the problem.
Noise and vibrations in the cabin are kept to a minimum through the use of modern insulating materials and the presence of dampers in the cabin mounts and between the power train and engine connections. Operator's cabin
The standard equipment of the operator's cabin includes heating and air ventilation systems.
Control elements are installed in a minimum quantity, they are functional and easy to use. To monitor the condition of the machine, a centralized system is provided, which, in the event of a breakdown or malfunction, displays information to the operator, allowing the operation to be stopped in a timely manner and the cause of the failure eliminated.
