The KS-55727 jib crane, based on a 3-axle MAZ chassis, is designed for loading and unloading operations, as well as for use in the construction of low-rise buildings. The design of the machine allows operation at temperatures from -35°С to +40°С and wind force up to 14 m/s. The deployed crane installation remains stable in wind gusts of up to 40 m/s, but manipulation of the load is prohibited.

Specifications

The cars are assembled at a plant located in Mogilev (Belarus). The design uses components produced by related enterprises from Russia, Belarus, Italy and a number of other countries. Hydraulic cylinders are used to drive the crane installation. A power take-off gearbox is installed on the base chassis gearbox, which is used to drive an axial piston pump.

The slewing bearing uses a planetary gearbox equipped with a separate hydraulic motor of a gerotor circuit and a multi-disc brake. Hydraulic cylinders are used to control the boom installation angle; hydraulics and an additional pulley are used to drive the boom sections. The telescopic boom consists of 4 separate parts, providing a circular working area.

The KS-55727-1 jib truck crane with a lifting capacity of 25 tons is designed to perform loading and unloading, construction and installation work with ordinary loads at dispersed sites. The truck crane is designed for operation at an ambient temperature of 40 C and a relative humidity of 80% at 20 C. Permissible wind speed at a height of 10 m: for the operating state of the truck crane -14 m/s1; for non-working condition -40 m/s2. The permissible slope of the site for installing a truck crane for operation of the crane on outriggers is 5% (3˚). The permissible angle of inclination to the horizon when working on outriggers is -1.5˚. Modifications

The plant produced a number of modifications of the machine, which differed in the basic chassis and elements of the crane installation. The carrying capacity of the equipment remains unchanged. The basic delivery version uses a shortened driver's cabin that does not have a berth. The modification with a sleeping bunk is made on separate orders and is rare.

KS-55727-1

The KS-55727-1 truck crane is installed on a MAZ-6303 truck equipped with a rear bogie wheel drive. To increase the stability of the crane on a vehicle chassis, a forced locking of the rear suspension is used. The system turns on automatically when the machine is suspended on supports. The crane installation is located on a moving part mounted on a chassis through a roller ring equipped with a ring gear with external gearing of the rotation drive.

KS-55727-7

The vehicle is installed on a MAZ-6303A3 chassis, equipped with a 250-horsepower YaMZ-6562 diesel engine that meets Euro-3 requirements. The driver is located in a closed metal cabin equipped with autonomous heating and a ventilation system with forced air supply. The rear window is installed in a folding frame, which provides additional ventilation. Air conditioning was used on some of the cars.

The design of the machine uses boom lift and cable winding limiters, which are limit switches.

Tilt angle indicators are installed in the driver's cabin and on the support contour. Additionally, an electronic load limiter is installed, which is equipped with a voltage protection module. The device does not allow work near power lines. All operational data is recorded in non-volatile memory.

KS-55727-A-12

The vehicle is a further development of the KS-55727-7-12 modification. A special feature of the design is the use of the MAZ-6312V3 chassis, equipped with a 270-horsepower YaMZ-5361 turbodiesel that meets Euro-4 requirements. The machine uses upgraded boom drive hydraulics, which provide improved performance.

The crane installation features a redesigned operator's cabin. The design uses a panoramic windshield, and the thickness of the pillars is reduced. The walls are lined with material that provides sound insulation. The standard equipment includes a Russian-made diesel heater; imported analogues are used upon request. Air conditioning may be used.
