Technical characteristics of the KS 55713 crane and its modifications

The KS-55713 truck crane was developed by the Galich Truck Crane Plant and produced in 1988. Vehicles such as KamAZ, KrAZ, and Urals are used as a platform. Special equipment is assembled at various factories in the post-Soviet space. You can count about two dozen modifications of this model of jib crane. The article will discuss the technical characteristics of the KS-55713 crane and its modifications.

This piece of special equipment is one of a kind, as it has technical characteristics unique to a truck crane. It is capable of manipulating a load of up to 25 tons in a closed circle around its axis. The unit is equipped with supports that allow you to work in small areas without having to pull out the beams.

Crane characteristics

Two piston hydraulic pumps perform the drive function. They operate from the main power unit. Two mechanical gearboxes of the car are involved in transmitting torque. The crane mechanisms are based on an independent drive consisting of hydraulic motors and hydraulic cylinders.


Truck crane KS-55713-1K

Using hydraulics, you can gently control the units at the maximum speeds for the unit and regulate the actions performed. Thanks to this, you can move several loads at once. The presence of a prefabricated three-section boom gives the advantage of operating the indicator in a limited space, but at the same time provides the width of the working area.

The KS-55713 truck crane has shooting equipment. It is represented in single file. A mechanism for extending this element is hidden in the cavity of the element. Combining head blocks with a hook suspension allows you to create a copy plate that has 8, 6 and single types.

The maximum lifting weight for this type of special equipment is 25 tons. This result is achieved when using a 3.2-meter boom reach. The maximum lifting height of the load on the hook when using the main boom reaches 21.6 meters. If you add a jib that is seven and a half meters long, the load can be lifted to a height of 29.3 meters.

Extending and retracting the booms is only permitted when working with a load not exceeding 6 tons. The speed of raising and lowering the maximum load is 8.7 cm/sec. When working with a load of up to 4500 kg, you can increase the speed to 18 cm/sec. The rotation speed of the turning part is 02 - 0.96 revolutions per minute.

Modifications of KS-55713 with a 21.7 m boom

Modifications KS-55713-1, KS-55713-3, KS-55713-4, KS-55713-5 have a three-section telescopic boom with a length of 9.7 - 21.7 m and are additionally equipped with a lattice jib 9 m long. Transfer of the jib from transport position to the working position and back is done manually without the use of additional lifting equipment.

Specifications

When the outriggers are extended to the maximum distance, the perimeter of the support contour in the direction and in the normal position to the installation axis is 490x580 cm. With the beams retracted, the perimeter is reduced to 490x227 cm. A truck crane equipped with the main boom and in the transport position weighs 20 tons 200 kg. When adding a jib, it weighs 450 kg. The maximum net power of the installation is 280 hp at a power unit speed of 1900 rpm.

The unit has the following maximum technical characteristics:

  • load moment - 80 t.m.;
  • lifted load - 25 tons; reach - 3.2 m;
  • boom length - 9.7-21.7 m;
  • jib length -9 m;
  • booms/booms and jib 21.7 / 30 m;
  • lowering the hook / with reach - 9.7 / 12 m;
  • the weight of the transported cargo with the extended section is 4 tons;
  • the load can be lowered at a speed of 5/12/96 m/min depending on the weight of the load 1/6/25 t;

Along the route, the crane on any base accelerates no higher than 60 km/h. During operation, the rotating part rotates at a speed of no higher than 1.4 rpm. The wheeled chassis formula is 6x4. KamAZ and URAL are equipped with an engine that has a power of 219 kW.

KS-55713-1K

Automotive crane KS-55713-1K, manufactured. It is equipped with an ONK-140 load control element. The system can be controlled via a display in the crane interior. The chassis of this special equipment item is KamAZ. The boom has a length of 21 m. It can lift a load of up to 25 tons. With maximum reach, the crane is capable of lifting up to 6.6 tons of weight. It has a lifting height of 21 meters.

Crane KC-55713-1B

The Galician truck crane has a KamAZ-65115 wheelbase. It has a lifting capacity of up to 25 tons. The length of the hexagonal profile of the telescopic boom is 28 meters. You can install a lattice jib with a length of 9 meters, with an angle of inclination from 0 to 30 degrees. Due to this element, the length of the arrow and the shooting space are increased.

Thanks to the use of a 6x4 wheelbase, the boom crane can be used even in the most cramped conditions for such equipment. Crane operations are performed using standard control levers, which are simple and reliable.


Additional crane equipment

KS 35714

The KS 35714 truck crane, unlike other models, has a URAL-5557 chassis. The wheel formula of this model of equipment is 6x6. The maximum weight that the crane can lift is 16 tons. The set of basic working equipment includes a three-section telescopic boom.

The KS-35714 crane is absolutely no different from the KS-35715, except for its chassis. All technical specifications remain unchanged, as well as the equipment of this productive and reliable shooting crane.

The KS-55713-1 automobile jib crane with a lifting capacity of 25 tons is mounted on the chassis of KamAZ 65115 vehicles. Designed for loading and unloading and construction and installation work at dispersed sites. Safe operation of the crane is ensured by a complex of instruments and devices, including a microprocessor load limiter with digital indication of operating parameters on the display in the driver’s cabin. The device automatically protects the crane from overload and capsizing, is equipped with a crane coordinate protection system necessary for working in cramped conditions, has a built-in telemetric memory unit (“black box”) and a crane protection module from dangerous voltage (MZON) for working near power lines.

Due to this, the crane is able to carry out work with loads in a 360° circular zone and, as a result, the number of rearrangements of the truck crane when working on site is minimized. Thus, the functionality and performance of this crane model on work sites significantly exceeds that of existing analogues.

Three-section telescopic

a boom with a length of 9 - 21 m provides the truck crane with compactness and maneuverability when moving, a wide area and a large height for moving cargo during operation.
The boom telescoping system includes one
extension hydraulic cylinder and a rope pulley. The ability to telescope the boom with a load on the hook allows the truck crane to perform special tasks: installing loads in hard-to-reach places, carrying them among mounted structures.

Additional equipment of the boom with a lattice jib 7.5 m long with the possibility of installation at an angle of 0° and 30° relative to the boom allows for the largest service area and the size of the under-boom space.

Safe operation of the crane is ensured by a set of special instruments and devices, including a microprocessor-based load limiter with coordinate protection, which automatically protects the cranes from overload and tipping, limits the movement of the moving part of the cranes in a given working area (working in cramped conditions or near power lines), and issues information about the operation of the crane on the display in the driver's cabin.

The load limiter has a built-in device for recording characteristics - a “black box” and a built-in module for protecting the crane from dangerous voltage (MZON) for operating the truck crane near power lines.
