The KS-55713-1K-3 truck crane with a lifting capacity of 25 tons is mounted on a KamAZ-65115 chassis. The truck crane is designed for loading and unloading, construction and installation work at dispersed sites. The chassis has good maneuverability, which allows the crane to be used at sites with various types of access roads, and its small dimensions make it suitable for operation in the cramped conditions of modern cities.

The crane installation is driven by two axial piston hydraulic pumps, which are driven into rotation by the base chassis engine. The crane mechanisms have an individual drive with independent control from hydraulic motors and hydraulic cylinders. The crane's hydraulic system provides smooth control of all mechanisms with a wide range of speed control for working operations, as well as the ability to simultaneously combine several crane operations.

The four-section telescopic boom, made of high-strength steel, has a length of 9.5 - 28.0 m. In the retracted position, the boom provides the truck crane with high maneuverability, and in the extended position, it provides a wide working area. Additional equipment of the boom in single file increases the size of the under-boom space. The transfer of the jib from the transport position to the working position and back is done manually without the use of additional lifting equipment.

The ability to telescope the boom with a load on the hook allows the truck crane to install loads in hard-to-reach places and carry them among mounted structures. For the convenience of working in cramped conditions, a load handling mode is provided with the crane installed on supports with the outrigger beams retracted.

The safe operation of the KS-55713 truck crane is ensured by a load limiter with a digital indication of operating parameters. The device automatically protects the crane from overload and capsizing, is equipped with a coordinate protection system necessary for working in cramped conditions, has a built-in telemetric memory unit and a hazardous voltage protection module for working near power lines.

Many crane components use imported components that do not require replacement or repair over the entire service life of the crane. An autonomous diesel heater is used to heat the cabin.

Boom and telescoping system

The four-section telescopic boom is made of high-strength steel. The boom sections are made of two bent all-metal profiles in accordance with modern trends in global crane construction. Optionally, it is possible to install an OVoid boom. Together with a fundamentally new system for telescoping boom sections, all this made it possible to significantly reduce the total mass of the boom, while increasing its strength and load-height characteristics. The length of the boom in the retracted position is 9.5 m, which makes the crane compact and maneuverable when moving. When all four sections are fully extended, the length of the boom is 28 m, which provides a large working area and the greatest height of load movement during operation. The ability to telescope a boom with a load on a hook allows the crane to perform special tasks: installing loads in hard-to-reach places, carrying them among mounted structures. For the convenience of working in cramped conditions, a mode for working with loads is provided with the installation of the crane on supports with the outrigger beams retracted.

Additional equipment expands the range of possibilities

Additional equipment of the boom with a lattice jib 9 m long allows for the largest service area and the size of the under-boom space. The transfer of the jib from the transport position to the working position and back is done manually without the use of additional lifting equipment.

Functionality and performance

Due to the large size of the support contour (5.0 x 6.1!!!), the crane can carry out work with loads in a 360° circular zone, which allows minimizing the number of rearrangements when working on site. Thus, the functionality and performance of this crane model on work sites significantly exceeds that of existing analogues.

Reliable operation of the truck crane is ensured by foreign-made components that do not require replacement or repair during the entire service life of the crane.

Safe operation of the crane is ensured by a complex of instruments and devices, including a microprocessor load limiter with digital indication of operating parameters on the display in the driver’s cabin. The device automatically protects the crane from overload and capsizing, is equipped with a crane coordinate protection system necessary for working in cramped conditions, has a built-in telemetric memory unit (“black box”) and a crane protection module from dangerous voltage (MZON) for working near power lines.

The truck crane is equipped with a crane operator's cabin that meets the latest requirements for comfort and visibility: a compartment-type sliding door, a diesel heater, a fan, a folding rear hatch, and a convenient instrument panel. Convenience of control of crane operations is achieved due to the original arrangement of control levers.

The KS-55713-1K-3 truck crane is designed for operation at an ambient temperature of ±40°C and a relative humidity of 80% at +20°C and storage at an ambient temperature of at least -50°C. Transport movement of the KS-55713-1K-3 truck crane between work sites is recommended on hard-surface roads that allow an axial load of at least 10 t. Installation of the Klintsy truck crane is possible on a prepared site with dimensions of 6.0x6.5 m and a slope of no more than 3°. The permissible wind speed for the operating position of the crane should not be more than 14 m/s at a height of 10 m, for the non-operating state - 3-40 m/s. In order to increase the lifting height and under-jib space, the crane design provides for the possibility of installing a jib with a length of 7.5 m on a telescopic boom. In this case, the reeving of the cargo rope must be one-time, and the main hook suspension must be replaced with an additional hook suspension. Changing the angle of inclination of the telescopic boom of the crane is carried out by a mechanism for changing the reach, and the extension of sections is carried out by a mechanism for extending the boom. The telescopic boom is attached to the racks of the rotating frame using an axle. The cargo rope is fixed to the winch drum. The mechanisms and hydraulic equipment located on the rotating frame are covered with a casing.

The load-handling device on the KS-55713-1K Klintsy truck crane with a lifting capacity of 25 tons on the Kamaz-65115 truck chassis is a hook suspension. Raising and lowering the load is carried out by a lifting mechanism. The connection between the rotating part of the crane and the non-rotating part is carried out by a rotating support (slewing support). The rotation of the rotating part of the crane is carried out by a turning mechanism. The truck crane is equipped with safety devices. To monitor the condition of the crane and its components, as well as to control the crane, instrumentation and controls are used (Fig. 2).

The controls for the crane's actuators are located in the crane operator's cabin.

The speed of crane operations depends on the position of the actuator control handles: the further the handles are deviated from the neutral position, the higher the speed of a particular operation. The hydraulic circuit of the Klintsy 25t truck crane based on KamAZ-65115 also provides for the possibility of obtaining increased speeds of cargo movement.
