Cars with a mileage of more than half a million kilometers may experience minor problems with fuel equipment. The reason is very simple - Renault Premium comes to us mainly from abroad, and diesel fuel there is of a higher quality than ours. In the Ukrainian realities of truck driver work, water gets into the fuel equipment and the components fail. Both the fuel injection pump and the electronically controlled injectors must be replaced. It should be noted that it is not the electronics itself that fails, but the mechanical part, which simply cannot withstand the effects of moisture, dirt, and solid mechanical particles. This is all, of course, fixable, but the fuel equipment does not last forever, so after a mileage of 500,000 km it has to be changed. When this figure approaches, many European carriers try to sell the car so as not to spend money on maintenance and repairs. Unfortunately, Ukrainian and Russian carriers are forced to buy such vehicles (due to the financial impossibility of purchasing new ones) and repair them.
To protect themselves from unnecessary costs, carriers install separators that monitor the passage of moisture through the fuel system. It's better, of course, to put the original. Firstly, it begins to work autonomously already at a temperature of +5 °C; and secondly, it comes heated.
Main causes of Defect 200
Among the more common circumstances of the error Flaw 200, it is worth highlighting the following:
- absence or weak contact on the CAN bus;
- mechanical damage to wiring;
- weak contact with ground on one of the devices;
