The L34 loader was created at the HWT plant in Poland. The production cycle is closed - loading machines, mechanisms and spare parts for them are produced on the territory of one Stalowa Wola plant. The production facilities of the enterprise are located 250 km from Warsaw in a south-eastern direction. The L 34 front loader is used for unloading or loading objects, cargo, and raw materials in large volumes. Loading machines are in demand among construction crews and warehouse workers at industrial enterprises. The loading characteristics of the L 34 were adapted for use at mining and metallurgical plants.

Fuel

Device
The L 34 loader chassis consists of an articulated frame on which the working system units, cabin and engine are installed. The chassis is equipped with 2 axles, the front beam is rigidly mounted. The rear axle suspension is equipped with a balancing unit. The beam swings only in the vertical plane, ensuring that the wheels maintain contact with the road surface.
The power unit used is the SW680-59-8 diesel engine, produced by the Polish company WSK Mielec.
The engine is equipped with an in-line 6-cylinder block, displacement 11100 cm³. A turbocharger is used to supply air, with a maximum power of 220 hp. at 2200 rpm. The design does not provide for an air intercooler. The fuel supply is located in a tank designed for 480 liters of liquid.
The engine is equipped with a 4-speed hydromechanical gearbox, which has a limited speed shift range when operating under load. The design of the unit has an additional guitar that provides full reverse of the box. The maximum speed is 39 km/h, which allows the vehicle to move independently on public roads. A 1-stage hydraulic transformer is installed between the gearbox and the engine.
The drive axles differ in the design of the axle shaft housings; otherwise, the components are unified. The main pair is bevel type with spiral gear teeth. There is a symmetrical bevel differential, without a forced locking mechanism. Additional planetary gearboxes are installed in the hubs.
For braking, dry-type disc mechanisms equipped with a combined drive (from air and hydraulic lines) are used. Holding in place is carried out using a separate disk mechanism. The unit is mounted on the input shaft of the front axle. The compression of the pads is carried out mechanically from a lever mounted in the cabin (spring drive); the release is pneumatic.
The working hydraulic system is equipped with a gear pump with a capacity of up to 289 liters of fluid per minute. The pressure in the lines is 15 MPa, regulated by a special valve. The distribution of liquid flows is carried out by a 3-section device. To drive the boom and change the angle of the bucket, separate hydraulic cylinders are used, differing in the stroke of the rod.
The loader rotates using an individual hydraulic drive, which includes a pump with a working pressure of 10 MPa. The system includes 2 power cylinders. The supply of fluid for the working hydraulic system and controls is stored in a single supply tank containing 230 liters of oil. Another gear pump is installed in the hydraulic transformer. Oil is supplied from a separate container designed for 95 liters of liquid.
The machine is equipped with a cab with a safety cage, which protects the operator from injury in the event of a rollover. The cab roof protects the driver from falling objects. The workplace is equipped with an inertial seat belt. The loader is controlled using levers and pedals, and some additional equipment is activated by key switches. In front of the operator there is a control panel with arrow indicators and warning lamps.
Machine structure
The Polish loader received a factory bucket with a volumetric capacity of 3.5 m3. It is they who carry out the unloading or loading process of any material - crushed stone, sand, soil rock, snow. When connecting universal tools, the unit can dig soil and tow other vehicles. The design of the unit is equipped with six hydraulic cylinders, which are divided into two hydraulic systems. Each cylinder of the system has a built-in liner and rod, a fixed rod of the upper mount, and a piston of the lower mount. The braking system acts simultaneously on all four wheels of the machine; the loader brake is pneumohydraulic.

This unit is equipped with a four-stroke diesel engine with turbocharging. Engine type - WSK Mielec SW680 / 59/8.
The loader is equipped with six identical hydraulic cylinders (in two hydraulic systems). The cylinder consists of a liner, a rod, an upper fixed piston (it is fixed with a nut), and a lower piston mounted on the rod. At the very base of the rod and sleeve there are pins (pivots) or trunnions. These are hinges installed on seats.
The braking system is pneumatic-hydraulic, it acts on all four wheels, pneumatic hydraulic discs influence each axle. One disc is placed on the front axle of the input shaft. There are warning lights as well as an audible warning. The fuel tank capacity is 480 l.
