The MKSM-800 loader has gained popularity in Russia, as it is known for its ability to perform various tasks, its small size, simple operation and maintenance, as well as its reasonable price and efficiency in the work process. This machine, along with other civilian and military equipment, is produced by one of the largest Russian manufacturers - the Kurgan Machinery Plant.

Peculiarities

What does the abbreviation MKSM stand for? It stands for: “Multi-Purpose Municipal Construction Vehicle.” The number 800 included in the model name indicates the carrying capacity and the maximum capabilities of this equipment.

In addition to the bucket, the basic loading configuration, about twenty other devices and auxiliary parts can be installed on the MKSM mini-loader. This transformation takes place quite quickly; the new equipment is connected to the machine’s hydraulic system and is immediately ready for work. Due to such a complete set of accessories, this mini loader has gained a reputation as a multifunctional machine.

The equipment is easy to maneuver and easy to control, a smooth ride, as well as an almost complete turn around its axis, the machine is provided by a volumetric hydraulic drive and two-sided continuously variable gearboxes.

The machine itself, as well as the attached loading equipment, is controlled by the driver-operator from the cab. To carry out control, there are a pair of joystick levers equipped with a mechanical and electrical drive.

The operator's cabin is designed for comfortable work at different times of the year and in different conditions: an almost all-round view allows the operator to control the situation around him during the work process, and the heating of the cabin and the air conditioning system in it make the machine suitable for year-round use.

In poor road conditions (off-road, viscous deep mud, etc.), rubber-metal tracks provided by the design can be installed on the wheels of the vehicle directly from above. Thus, the machine evenly distributes the load on the ground and increases its traction and grip capabilities.

The small size and weight of this loader model make it possible, if necessary, to deliver it to the site of upcoming work using other large-sized cargo equipment.

Mini loader MKSM 800

MKSM-800 is used in various industries and construction, agriculture and public utilities. With its help, it is possible to perform a wide range of land management, loading/unloading and utility work, including in confined spaces, in closed areas and premises.

This mini loader is especially in demand in situations where the use of standard large-sized special equipment is not economically profitable or simply impossible.

Technical specifications

The MKSM-800 loader model is the basic model. The manufacturer produces several other “subtypes”: 800A, 800K, 800N and 800A-1. They differ from each other in different engine power (although all are diesel) and several other design and technical features.

Device

MKSM-800 is equipped with hydraulic systems produced at enterprises located in Kovrov, Pargolovo or Salavat. Their only difference is the method of removal of wear products.

CHETRA's loader is valued for its versatility. The model works with 17 types of attachments: a road brush, a snow blower, a unit for spreading anti-ice materials, a rotary blade and other devices. The equipment can be changed in a matter of minutes using a quick-release clamp. No specialized tools are required.

Engine characteristics

MKSM loaders are equipped with various diesel engines imported from the USA, Japan and Germany. They vary in power, have a different cooling system and a different number of cylinders. All these differences determine the modification of the loader.

Left Panel Controls

With the left hand, the operator-driver can work with:

1. lever (1), responsible for controlling movement (Fig. 1); this lever can be in the following positions:
2. forward (A) – move forward;
3. back (B) – move backward;
4. right (D) – turn right;
5. right forward (AD) – turn right forward;
6. left forward (AC) – turn left forward;
7. right back (R) – turn left back;
8. left back (BC) – turn right back;
9. switch (13) (Fig. 3), used to turn on the hazard warning lights (when it starts, the turn signal lamps and control indicators (6) (Fig. 2) of the right panel will flash);
10. switch (12) (Figure 3), used to turn on the work lights (when it is turned on, the indicator lamp (8) will light up);
11. mini-regulator (10) designed to turn on the air heater.

• (8) – indicator for turning on the working lights.

In addition to indicator lamps, the panel has:

• socket (3) into which you can plug in a portable lamp;
• fuse box (4) for the air heating system;
• fuse box (7) (the purpose of the fuses is described in table 9.2);
• fuel level gauge receiver (14);
• temperature gauge receiver (9) for oil in the hydraulic system.

Performance characteristics

MKSM loaders, regardless of the model subtype, have a bucket in their arsenal and have the same load capacity, however, the method of controlling the hydraulic system, the speed of movement of the machine and the traction force of the loader vary depending on the modification.

Types of attachments

The main loading bucket, which is equipped with all types of MKSM loader, can be easily replaced with any other attachments in the arsenal of this mini-machine, namely:

Quarry bucket . For working with non-flowing and coarse-grained materials (crushed stone, stones, construction waste, etc.), and has a bucket volume of almost 0.5 cubic meters and a width of 173 cm. Equipped with special teeth on the edge.

Bulldozer rotary blade . It is used for cleaning winter roads from snow, platforms from debris, for soil leveling, filling and leveling holes. Its width is 220 cm.

Main working body

Bucket excavator . It is used for excavating small soil layers: trenches, holes, ditches, etc. Its capacity is 0.08 cubic meters, it rises to a height of 2 meters and goes deep to a depth of 2.4 m.

Trench excavator . It has a narrower specialization than the previous one, and is used for digging trenches necessary for laying cables, pipes and other communication units. Digs a trench with a maximum depth of 1 m, its width is 0.16 m, and works at a speed of 3.8 m/h.

Load forks . They are used during the storage of any stackable goods, for example, wooden pallets with construction or other goods during work in a warehouse, construction site or terminals. The working width varies from 23 cm to more than one and a half meters, and lifts to a height of 3.06 m.

Pressing forks . Used for collecting, loading and local movement of bulky and long waste, for example, construction waste (boards, beams, etc.), tree branches, bales or stacks of hay and straw, etc. They capture 162 cm and lift to a height of 3.01 m.

Weight pin . Used for moving or loading rolled materials: paper, wire, textiles, etc. The pin is 98 cm long and rises to a height of 3 m.

Load boom . With the same technical data as the pin, used for loading and unloading, lifting or transporting particularly heavy loads (up to 800 kg), a lifting hook is used to complete the task.

Drilling equipment . It is used for drilling wells in the ground, with different diameters and depths (20-40 cm in diameter and up to 2 m in depth), which can be used for a wide variety of work: from landscaping areas to constructing foundations and supports.

Hydraulic hammer . Used for crushing. With an impact force of 480 J, it breaks rocks and stones, concrete slabs and old asphalt, etc.

Road brush . Street cleaning. The tank contains 200 liters of water, and the brush covers 155 cm of surface.

Cleaning machine . Performs similar functions as a brush, but without the use of water and with the ability to reach hard-to-reach places, for example, a line near the curb, fences, etc. Coverage of the area during cleaning - 2 m.

Spreader with hopper . Used for sprinkling slippery roads. The volume of the bunker is 0.4 cubic meters, scatters at a distance of 3-16 m.

Milling rotary snow blower . Clears and discards snow cover from the treated surface. Captures 172 cm and throws 5 m.

Concrete mixer . It is used for mixing concrete mixtures directly on the construction site. Volume – 250 l.

Ripper. It is used during sowing, when landscaping lawns, when planning compacted soil as preparation, etc.

Dimensions and weight

The weight of the MKSM-800 loader, as well as its overall dimensions, are almost the same for all modifications. And only the MKSM-800A model is an exception.
