The MTZ-922 tractor is equipped with three-disc pneumatic brakes, which can be either dry or wet. Their drive is hydrostatic separate. Steering
The tractor is equipped with hydraulic power steering (HPS) as part of a separate hydraulic steering system with a gerotor metering pump in the steering column bracket and a double-acting hydraulic cylinder (Ts63X200) in the steering linkage of the steered front wheels of the tractor.
