Transmission

The transmission type of Vladimirovets is mechanical. The total number of gears is 14. Six of which are used for reversing, eight for forward movement. Two of the reverse gears are slow. The set of speeds allows the tractor to move during operation and when moving at speeds from 1.5 to 21 km/h. The clutch has one disc and is dry. The clutch is in a permanently closed position. The gearbox shafts are transverse. However, this does not prevent it from being used with the KSK-100 combine.

Engine

T45A is equipped with a modern, economical diesel engine model D130. This engine model has improved technical characteristics.

The operating power of the D130 engine reaches 45 horsepower, and the nominal power is 40 horsepower.
The engine cylinders, whose displacement is 3.12 liters, are arranged vertically in three rows.
Specific fuel consumption at rated power is 236 g/(kWh), and at operating power – 241 g/(kWh).

The T-25 tractor is equipped with a diesel, four-stroke, non-compressor D-21 engine with direct fuel injection and an air cooling system. This two-cylinder engine was developed at the Vladimir Tractor Plant.

All mechanisms, components and assemblies of the engine are installed directly on the crankcase, timing gear cover and flywheel housing.

D-21 engine design

The T-25 tractor engine is designed as follows. On the left side (along the tractor) of the engine there are fuel equipment, a middle deflector, exhaust and inlet pipelines and a glow plug in the suction pipeline. On the front part there is an axial fan with a generator, an oil filler neck, a jet centrifuge, an hour meter, an oil dipstick, fine and coarse filters, a generator and fan drive pulley with marks TDC, BDC and T. On the right side there is a starter and drive mechanism decompressor, fan casing and injectors. At the rear of the engine is a flywheel housing that is riveted to the crankcase.

The engine operating cycle consists of standard strokes: intake, compression, power stroke, exhaust. The basis for the engine is the crankcase, on which, in fact, all the main parts of the mechanisms are located. The crankcase is made of gray cast iron alloy. Inside the block there are special supports and holes for mounting the crank mechanism, gas distribution mechanism and cylinder head. The engine of the T-25 tractor develops a power of about 25 hp.

To eliminate vibration and balance the engine, a mechanism is provided, consisting of a roller with counterweights installed on it. The D-21 engine is equipped with a single-plunger distribution-type pump.

Diesel fuel supplied to the engine is first cleaned by a coarse filter and then passes through a fine filter with a replaceable paper filter. A three-stage air cleaner is used to clean the incoming air.

The engine lubrication system of the T-25 tractor is combined - under pressure and splashing. A gear pump driven by the crankshaft creates pressure in the oil line. A full-flow centrifuge removes mechanical impurities from the oil.

Description VTZ 2048A

In the early 2000s, the plant’s engineers were tasked with creating equipment that could replace the T-45 family of tractors produced at that time.
The result of their work was the new VTZ 2048A tractor, serial production of which began in 2001. Today, the special equipment has been discontinued and replaced by a modern analogue Agromash-50TK, but during the time it was in production, three series of this machine were produced, namely VTZ-2048A, 2048AE, 2048AS “Plowman”. This model of special equipment is in between the VTZ 2032A and the T-85 Vladimirets. Compared to the 2032A, it is equipped with a more powerful next-generation engine, produced in-house by this plant. The hydrostatic transmission remains the same and has the same set and speed range.

Performance

The tractor has a simple design, is easy to operate, and is fairly easy to maintain; thanks to these qualities, it has become widespread.
The power take-off system installed on special equipment allows it to be used as a chassis for additional attachments, produced at the same plant where the machine itself is manufactured. Developed taking into account our extensive experience in producing similar special equipment, as well as imported models of this class, the VTZ 2048A tractor received fairly good reviews of its performance characteristics.
