Characteristics of forklift models

In general, a Balkancar forklift of any model is assembled on the basis of one base. The models differ only in engines and hydraulic system, which determines their different power:

1. The ER series includes loaders with electric motors. Load capacity ranges from 1250 to 8000 kg. The speed of movement is within the limits of 10-15 km/h. Engine power varies from 7 to 22 kW depending on the load capacity of the machine.
2. The 1S series models are equipped with Toyota diesel or gas-gasoline engines. Load capacity ranges from 120 to 2000 kg. Travel speed reaches 15 km/h. Engine power is 43-44 kW.
3. The 2S series combines equipment with a diesel engine. They differ in load capacity as well as power. A striking representative of the series is the DV 1792 model. The lifting capacity of this series of lifts ranges from 2500 to 5000 kg. The speed reaches 22 km/h. The engine power is about 45 kW, but on powerful models it reaches 60 kW.
4. 2SR, 3S and 4S combine powerful diesel vehicles with lifting capacities from 4,000 to 20,000 kg.

1. Use of electric, diesel and gasoline engines from leading manufacturers: such as Toyota, Deutz, Minsk. The Bulgarian diesel forklift is used outdoors and in a well-ventilated area. Electric forklifts are less powerful, but are suitable in enclosed spaces where exhaust gases are not allowed.
2. The use of alternating current in electric motors eliminates the need to change carbon brushes. This made it possible to place the engine in a sealed housing and completely protect it from external influences.
3. The electric motor and internal combustion engines are controlled by microcontrollers. This greatly simplifies management and prevents most emergency situations.
4. Electric forklift batteries offer increased capacity, performance and charging speed. Special systems provide control of the fluid level in the batteries, remaining capacity and temperature.
5. The chassis is designed to make the Balkankar electric forklift as stable and easy to control as possible.
6. Hydraulic brakes. There are usually two types of tires: pneumatic or stationary. Pneumatics are a standard tire and tube design. They can provide good shock absorption, which is especially good on uneven working surfaces, but reduce the stability of the machine. In contrast, hard tires provide poor shock absorption but provide excellent stability and wear resistance.

Loaders can be equipped with different lifts:

1. Simplex (3-4 m) - two frames with a free wheel.
2. Duplex (3 m) - two frames with a raised free wheel.
3. Triplex (4.2, 4.5, 4.8, 5.6, 6.4 m) - three frames with a raised free wheel.

The lift is equipped with hydraulic cylinders and load chains. The fork carriage itself is attached to the lift mast, but suspended by chains. When the mast is raised by hydraulic cylinders, the carriage moves along the frame at twice the rotation speed of the hydraulic cylinder spindle. The transmission is hydrostatic and allows you to fully control the movement with a light touch on the pedal.

All forklifts are equipped with lighting and a reversing alarm.

Based on the source of movement, the above-mentioned lifting machines can be classified into gasoline, diesel, and electric. We offer several model series from the Bulgarian classic manufacturer, which has long and firmly established itself in the global forklift market. Among the series listed below, there are several diesel devices and one electric one, and some series also include not only diesel models, but also gas engine vehicles. Diesel loaders are economical and reliable equipment; they are powerful, not inferior in this respect to gasoline competitors, have quite decent speed characteristics and at the same time do not require refueling for a long period, their fuel consumption is lower than that of gasoline vehicles, and the price of fuel itself is low. Diesel mechanisms are highly maneuverable, but compact, so they are able to work effectively and efficiently not only on the street and in large rooms, but also in tighter spaces, for example, in wagons and containers. It is not surprising that many construction companies actively use diesel forklifts from this particular manufacturer. Bulgarian cars produced by Balkankar, despite their high quality, are affordable, which compares favorably with some competitive models from factories in other countries. This observation also applies to spare parts for this equipment. These loading mechanisms have a well-thought-out design, are convenient to operate, and comply with international standards, as well as the norms and trends of modern mechanical engineering. Ergonomic seats allow the driver to work without experiencing extreme fatigue; the chair can be adjusted to suit the operator’s height.

The presented series: “Record 1S”, “Record 2S”, “Record 3S”, “Record SR” - use international engines. The last two series listed above are supplied with German DEUTZ engines. "Record 1S" runs on diesel or gas engines made by German DEUTZ and Japanese KUBOTA. For diesel models "Record 2S", in addition, Belarusian engines are used. Load capacity "Record 1S" - from 1.25 t to 2 t, "Record 2S" - from 2 t to 5 t, "Record 3S" - from 6 t to 8 t, "Record SR" - 4-5 t. The design of devices of the “Record 1S” and “Record 2S” series can be of three types of lifting mechanisms - “Simplex”, “Duplex”, “Triplex”. The horizontal speed of models 1S, 2S, 3S, regardless of the presence of cargo, is 20-22 km/h, mechanisms of the Record SR series can reach up to 25-28 km/h. The ascent speeds of different series are approximately comparable to each other - 400-600 m/s.

Electric forklifts powered by forklift batteries are somewhat more expensive than diesel vehicles, but this is fully justified by their advantages. The electric version of the forklift takes up little space and the width of the working aisle is small. This unit does not require a lot of additional space to maneuver; it turns with a small radius. But its lifting height is relatively high. Two important advantages of such models are 1) lack of noise, 2) lack of emissions and pollution into the environment. Electric devices are well suited for working in very small spaces and can serve well in environmentally sensitive jobs such as transporting food that needs to be kept fresh for as long as possible.

We have one type of electric forklifts - the Record series. This series varies widely in terms of load capacity - there are a dozen in-series models with values ​​of this indicator from 1.25 t to 8 t. The series differs from previous diesel ones in a number of additional solutions in the structure: in addition to those determined by the electrical design (current converter for charging batteries; the machine comes driven by a pulse regulator “CURTIS”), this technical device has rear-view mirrors, reverse gear, electronic scales, and a special extension for the forks. The machine comes with wearable devices such as grippers. As with some diesel models described above, Record series electric forklifts use Simplex, Duplex or Triplex for lifting. There is a cabin, but it is open, not glazed, with a plastic body.
